Monochromia Monday~

IMG_1427 - CopyThis is my first black and white photograph.

Stacy over at VISUAL VENTURING  has inspired me to try.

This  trestle bridge is nestled in a small cavern in Morristown, AZ.

It can be seen from a busy road.

Every time we go by, I say…

“I want to photograph that bridge!”

The other day my sweet, sweet man pulled off to the side of the road.

He then encouraged me to take a few photos of this beautiful construction.

I would love to get a shot standing near the front.

However…

to access the front of this trestle bridge has proven to be difficult!

Believe me, he has tried several times to drive through the desert to get to it.

Enjoy your Monday.

    1. I understand what you are saying… that is why it took me so long to post a black and white. However, this bridge just shouted to me… Please make me Black and white! HA HA HA

  1. Yay, Nancy!!!! You picked a perfect photo, with all the different textures and tonalities, for black and white. I would definitely have done the same. And as others have commented, it has an old western feel to it. I expect Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid to come riding ‘cross that bridge 🙂 Well done, and thanks so much for the shout out. I’m honored that I provided inspiration for you to take this step.

I'd love to hear from ya...
