So does this mean Christmas is over?
I love toffee! It is so addictive! When December shows up on our calendar… I can’t wait to see the gorgeous face of my neighbor as she delivers this tasty treat!
Sweet Man and I enjoyed this delicacy over the past few weeks. One piece… here and there. He would smile at me as I danced around in glee when sampling a piece! Yes… it’s that good!
So now… we have our last piece. Christmas is over. I need a new calendar. And now the “Say No To Sugar” begins!
Next time I post will be in the new year… I’m off to buy a new calendar. I can’t believe 2017 is almost done!

I made one batch of toffee this year. I have to restrict myself to one because I love it. Sinful. I told my husband that if I knew when I was going to die, I’d make a batch the day before and eat as much as I want. At least I’d leave with a big chocolate smile on my face. 🙂
This is exactly WHY I do not restrict myself from delightful treats. I will say I enjoy these treats in moderation. But I refuse to restrict myself.
Now toffee will not come upon my lips until next Christmas but that’s what it’s all about!
