Tuesday Tidbits #17

The wildflowers of the desert are in bloom…

The golden yellows of the Poppies and the vivid purple hues of The Lupines dance upon the mountains of the Sonoran Desert.

The Saguaros enjoy the company!

Other kinds of wildflowers can be found in the back country…

Just yesterday sweet man took these photos…

All of God’s creatures enjoy the blooms as well…

Our backyard took a hit from all the cold weather but until it grows back we will have to enjoy the lavender that’s blooming nicely!

The Sonoran Desert awaits for your visit…

I wish for you you to visit the desert in bloom… it’s truly a spectacular sight!

Thanks so much for visiting. I’m always glad to hear from you with your kind comments.

Until Next Time ~Nancy

    1. Oh Pam! I actually thought of you when posting this today! Your gardens are always a joy to see… therefore I wanted you to see our Wild Gardens!

    1. It’s gorgeous out there! And sweet man took me on a ride to just see wildflowers yesterday.

I took that pic… on the hills over there by you.

  1. Wow, I’m nearly speechless. What beauty. I felt more at peace just looking through this! I just love your slice of the world, Nancy, & sooo appreciate you sharing!

    1. Mackenzie I am so glad that the desert wildflowers brought you such joy! And we call this slice… paradise! Lol!

      Thanks for the visit!

  2. The desert flowers are truly amazing. The colors and blooms almost look unreal. I have so enjoyed viewing them that I almost feel like I am walking through the desert. Just gorgeous. You have truly captured God’s artistic nature.

  3. The flowers are beautiful, Nancy! They are so different from our flowers here in the east! When visiting my twinster and family in Green Mtn Falls, CO, I see and photograph some of those beautiful high-plains flowers! Gorgeous!

  4. Gorgeous!! Your photos are so lovely. I really enjoy the poppies. They are such a bright yellow/orange. Our desert, the Mojave Desert, is a much drier place with little foliage. We will have some cactus blooms but there are fewer wildflowers. However, we are getting lots of green grass which gives the landscape such a pretty green glow. Thanks for sharing your desert beauties:)

  5. Oh, yes, we did have snow! The first snow in the area in ten years. It was so nice to see the mountains all white, as well as our palm trees. Luckily, it only hung around for a very short time.
