Tuesday Tidbits #28

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Don’t you just love Waterfalls!

On our many travels we have seen many waterfalls.

First off…

we are blessed with a Community Park in our town center that has several beautiful falls.

The famous Niagara Falls are a sight to behold!

Below we see the American falls flowing but viewed from Canada. Rainbows happen quite often at Niagara Falls.

These are the Canadian Falls viewed from Canada.

These Falls are truly a sight to see!

When living in Ohio I would often visit Brandywine Falls.

If you visit Sammamish, Washington please make sure to visit Snoqualmie Falls that are near by.

Our travels to the Hawaiian Islands gave us many beautiful falls!

The Opaekaa Falls

Rainbow Falls at Hilo

And the magnificent Waimea Canyon of Kauai had its very own Falls as well.

When viewing waterfalls I get a sense of calm and tranquility. Even when they are roaring over the rocks. It’s a peacefulness…

I would love to hear about the Waterfalls you have seen. I’d appreciate if you would share with me your Falls stories in your comments.

Thank you for visiting!

Until Next Time~ Nancy

  1. Beautiful images! I love waterfalls and we always seek them out when we are traveling. We have a number of waterfalls in NE AL, even a beautiful one in our city that is a major attraction in our state. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pics, Nancy!

    1. Im right there with you Pam… waterfalls never disappoint!
I’m also quite happy you have Falls in your town as well!
Happy rest of the week to you! 😊

  2. Exhilarating, soothing, fast moving, powerful, musical…oh falling water is so many things. Isn’t it just amazing the beautiful falling water you have seen Nancy? Definitely put a smile on my face this early morning as I enjoyed your photos. Hawaiian captures are my favorites! Thank you. All my best to you.

  3. The Niagara Fals truly are a sight to behold, and I hope to be able to see them some day, but I like the smaller waterfalls better.

    1. I’ve been to Niagara a few times and the rushing sound is phenomenal!

Snoqualmie Falls… even though it wasn’t as wide as Niagara… it was as forceful.

Happy week to you Pit! 😊

  4. I love water falls Nancy and you have shared some really beautiful ones. I, too love Niagra Falls, both sides…they never disappoint. I also love the Hawaiian falls, we have dear friends who live on the big island and there are gorgeous falls there.

Perhaps my very favorite are the Snoqualmie Falls, if you have not seen them in the winter time, you are in for a treat. Absolutely stunning with snow and ice. A winter fairy land for sure. We were able to visit them many times while living in Seattle and they are beautiful year ’round.

    Hugs

    1. We will be there many more times as we have family there. We very well might be able to see it covered in snow!
Thank you always… for your lovely comments my friend!

  5. You have captured many gorgeous waterfalls, Nance.
In person, I feel fortunate to have experienced the visceral thrill of Niagara Falls in my heart and gut and more subtle joys of the falls on the volcano side of Hawaii’s Big Island. Both emotions will never leave me.

    1. You definitely described the “feel” of a waterfall!

We are both so blessed to have seen these awe inspiring sights!

  6. Nancy, These pictures are absolutely breathtaking. I am in absolute AWE! I also love that you included Brandywine falls. I grew up in that area- I didn’t go to the falls often but snowboarded at the ski area 🙂
