An Anniversary

Happy Sunday Friends! Glad you are here for a Sunday Visit. I sure hope you had a wonderful 4th of July and/or Canada Day!

Sweet Man and I took a whirlwind trip to Texas Hill Country for a 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration for sweet man’s sister and brother in law.

The celebration was beautiful and delicious!

Crab Cakes and Chicken Grilled Veggies… oh my!

Homemade Pulled Pork Quesadillas were served throughout the whole evening. They were sooooo good! Along with the Avocado Station. Yum!

Fabulous food and fabulous venue! This event center, which happened to be an old bank at one time, was located in Comfort, Texas.

Lots of old records still inside the safe!

And you know… there’s always room for cake!

We did not spend much time in Texas but we did enjoy a few of the Texas Attributes that grace the back country hillsides.

I am so glad you got to come for a quick trip to Texas with us. Thanks for tagging along!

I am leaving you with a video of a little Texas Fun!

Have a wonderful week and I’ll talk with you on Tuesday for Tuesday Tidbits!

Until Next Time ~Nancy

  2. Happy Anniversary! I haven’t spent much time in Comfort- will have to check it out! And as always your skill with a camera shines through your whole post!

    1. Thank you kindly Lauren! Yes, Comfort is a charming town filled with Antiquing and cute boutiques!

  4. The bank looked like a great, unusual venue. I would have been fine with just the tray of grilled veggies and the fruit cheese tray…my favorite!

  5. Looks like a wonderful celebration – BTW, my dad is Bill, and his wife is Cheryl – but they don’t live in Texas 🙂
