Happy Tuesday! Most of you all know we love our desert and love exploring it! This past Friday we set out to do the same. And oh boy… was it an
We stopped at our favorite spot where we take our guests and new friends. The views are incredible!
Then off we went. But before you know it … we saw people who were in need of help.
Sweet Man stopped as they had a dead battery. My guy had jumper cables!
They were thankful! And we were back to trail riding in no time.
Water crossings do occur but first you must make sure it’s not deep and the water is not rushing.
The trail was filled with views!
We came across an area where there were a lot of boulders. They were calling us to explore them!
And Explore we did!
Lots of fun at the Boulders!
But we were “Burning Daylight” so back to the trail we went!
A rocky crossing got a member of our caravan stuck. After much work and help from everyone… we got him off the rocks. But in the meantime his transmission pan was punctured and all his transmission oil was gone. Sweet man towed him out of the desert for about 25 miles.
There were some tough spots to maneuver…
And yes… I was pretty proud of Sweet Man… and our desert Jeep!
Once again it enforces the reason why we go out in the desert with others!
Thank you so much for the visit!

You had mentioned ‘trail riding’ in another post, and I mistakenly assumed you meant horses not vehicles. It sounds like you head out prepared for all emergencies. Glad you all got out safely. 🙂
Yes, you are correct, our trail riding is with vehicles.
Yes we head out with lots of preparations …along with trail ride “provisions” like water and food. Lots of water!
We are glad we got him to an auto repair shop. 🙂
What a rough-and-tumble adventure this was, Nance! Great work, Sweet Man!!
Indeed! He gets a high five from me!
Too much fun! Helping others along the way reminds us of boat outings where we live. We have been towed when we had engine trouble and towed many others who were having problems. It just goes with the territory.
It’s the unwritten rule of the desert and sea. Right?
We did have fun even with all things considered.
Thank you for your visits my friend!
Yes it is!
Nancy, I look forward to your Tuesday Tidbits. You are an adventuresome couple. The views are amazing of your Arizona desert. Love the photo of the two of you, y’all are a beautiful couple that enjoy life.
So glad you were able to help those in need. Happy Tuesday my friend!
Happy Tuesday Pam! We do have fun and enjoy each and every day that God gives us!
Thank you for the love!
Nance, it looks like you had an exciting and fun time! The scenery is gorgeous, and your photographs are breathtaking! Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. Happy Tuesday, sweet friend!
These excursions get somewhat more interesting then others! Lol!
Glad you got to come along for the ride!
Btw, so as I won’t need someone to just happen to find me if my battery is flat, I have a compressor-cum-jump-starter with me. I’ve not had to use it myself to start our car, only to help someone else. But I have frequently made good use of the compressor for my tires.
Being prepared is what it’s all about Pit! Glad you know what you need!
Thank you for the visit.
Sounds like you’ve definitely been having fun in our backyard. Love living here during the winter and you two certainly know how to explore it.
Fun is the word for us and this adventure! And hadn’t the weather been perfect!!
You wild and crazy adventurers 🙂 Good times!
You do a great job taking advantage of the beauty around you.
Thank you! We enjoy each and every day and each and every part that surrounds us! Thank you for the visit!

The scenery is amazing, and yes safety in numbers! I can’t believe you travel that rough terrain in jeeps, I always thought you were horseback when you mentioned trail riding! I bet that’s tons of fun, but also scary at times 😱
It’s a blast! Such a joy to see what is really out there in the back country.
Thank you for the love!
Oh, my goodness, Nancy! Indeed you do have a sweet man AND a prepared one. What a blessing to those ya’ll helped. Your photos are great!
Thank you Mitzy!
Really good of you guys to stop and lend a hand!
The landscape looks completely amazing.
It’s why we love it here!
