Tuesday Tidbits #84 Easy Beignets

Hello Friends! Welcome!

Have you been to NOLA? We enjoyed our travels to New Orleans very much. And when we were there we enjoyed the freshly made warm beignets. This past week I was thinking about those beignets and since we can’t go there because of this pandemic… I decided to make some. An easy version!

Just a few things are needed.

1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough, powdered sugar and vegetable oil.

They are so simple to make and oh, so delicious!

Here is the recipe!

These beignets are perfect with a cup of coffee any time of day.

And there’s enough to share with others!

I hope you can give them a try.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. I have enjoyed beignets at Cafe du Monde with a cafe au lait! Now if I could just pull a few of those through my IPad screen to enjoy with my coffee. I will try the recipe, it is certainly simple enough. Wishing you a lovely day my friend!

    1. Easy peasy! Make sure you can share them when you make them because they are sooooo good warm!

Happy Tuesday Pam! Hope you are doing something fun today…😀

  2. Beignets are one of my favorite foods from NOLA. I used to buy a boxed beignet mix from Cafe du Monde but haven’t seen it in the stores for years. Thank you for this easy recipe!

    1. I would love trying them your way. And I may put some cinnamon in the powdered sugar next time.
      Happy Tuesday Jenna!

  3. Hi Nancy, I’ve never heard of these, but (if I can find the biscuit dough) I’ll give them a go – they certainly look yummy 🙂
