What a Week!
That’s all I am going to say about this past week…
Welcome In… Let’s sit down at the table and have some good fellowship. We are all in need of that!
The first thing I have to mention is… I am enjoying my new tablecloth. It adds that seasonal touch I was looking for.
I continue to walk almost every morning enjoying the sights along the way. This saguaro had a late flower bloom. It’s odd to see these flowers now. We typically see them bloom in late spring.
But soon after seeing the saguaro I then came across these cacti in bloom as well. Fun surprises for me to share with you.
A white bougainvillea was a lovely find. Pinks and reds are more commonly found.
I’ve been staying off the pocket trails for right now. I’m waiting for the snakes to go to sleep for the winter.
I did spot more prickly pear cactus. Have you ever had a prickly pear margarita or better yet have you ever had prickly pear gelato? Both are quite delicious. The juice has a sweet taste that resembles raspberries.
We are hoping to head north to a higher elevation next week to see some color on the trees.

I just got back from walking and the sunrise was incredible. And yes… we don’t like snakes as well. It’s why I am on the wide open trails.

Oh my gosh your fall table settings are amazing!! 🙂 And while I haven’t tried prickly pear margarita or gelato, I have tried prickly pear jelly beans, gummies, and taffy. All were delightful! 🙂
