Tuesday Tidbits #113 A Happy Birthday

Hello! Another Tuesday is upon us.

It was a special week over here at Two Trails One Road as it was Sweet Man’s Birthday!

We enjoyed his special day on the Golf Course.

…and yes, he did make the putt!

And can you believe this…

I had to stop at one of the holes to get a shot of all the horses close by. We golfed at a resort and these were all their horses for the guests to go horseback riding on.

Lunch out at the Golf Club made for a lovely ending to our day out on the course.

A lovely place to dine inside as everyone was still outside golfing or riding horses. Social distancing at its best!

When we got home… Sweet Man found us a new little friend! He was so excited for me to come out into our backyard and see this little owl who stopped by for a visit!

He was adorable and only about 9 inches big.

He did enjoy hanging out in our roof over hang. However, we still are waiting for him to Screech!

The day even got more special as that evening we saw a spectacular sunset… Arizona Sunsets never disappoint. This sunset quickly changed in front and in back of us!

Then incredibly… the whole sky turned into a blaze! It looked like it was on fire! Spectacular!

  4. Happy birthday to Sweet Man! It looks like the perfect day to enjoy being outside. The resort looks beautiful and wow those horses. I do love a sunset and that one was spectacular!

  11. Wish your husband a Happy Birthday for me! That sunset was incredible! I can not even believe that that little owl would sit there for a picture to be taken. What an experience that was. Looks like a very nice birthday all around.

  14. Birthday wishes to your Sweet Man. It sounds like you both had a lovely day and I can almost hear (and see) you saying “Hang on, hang on! I just have to take a couple of photos!” Does Sweet Man sigh heavily in moments like these? Dean does, but he waits patiently all the same 🙂

    1. Thank you Clare! Sweet Man does enjoy the memories we are making … so he does quite well with all my picture taking! Lol! And that’s lots and lots!

  16. What a cool owl!! Awesome capture! In our 5 years in Goodyear, I saw more variety of birds than I did in the 24 years we lived in San Diego!! Same with sunsets…stunning AZ sunsets!!

  25. What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday! Happy belated birthday to him! Mine was on Friday. There sure seem to be a lot of birthdays in January. 🙂 The owl is adorable!
