Tuesday Tidbits #158 Christmas Greetings

GREETINGS!

Many of us are in the countdown to Christmas. The last minute hustle and bustle of baking, cooking and shopping has all of us scrambling a little more then usual. Therefore, I will keep this post short.

I have lots to share with you from our quick visit to Seattle, Washington.

It’s the Season to Celebrate

However, I will share all of our last week happenings… next week.

Now is the time to put on the Christmas Carols, eat some Christmas Cookies, drink some eggnog, sit by the fire and Celebrate everything that is Home for the Holidays with Family.

Try to reminisce of times gone by and remember your sweet Christmas memories. One for me is when I was a little girl… On Christmas morning I was not to come downstairs until I heard Burl Ives playing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer on the Stereo Record Player in the Living Room. A loving memory.

Let Us Not Forget

And let us not forget the Real Reason for the Season.

This small nativity was hand carved in Bethlehem. It was a gift from a good friend.

    1. Oh Pam… it’s been a whirlwind of travel for us. First the LakeHouse and then shortly after we were off to Seattle. Being boosted helps give us confidence. And it was so wonderful to see the grandchildren. ❤️
      We are thrilled to be home now. Resting! Thank goodness I decorated for Christmas way back before Thanksgiving!

  12. That is such a beautiful hand carved nativity, and (as usual) everything in the house looks bright and cheery. When our girls were little (very little), if they woke up and the lights were still on on the Christmas Tree, it meant Santa had been. That’s my wonderful memory for today.

  14. A very Merry Christmas to you and your family!! Can’t wait to read about your time in Seattle. We are getting closer to landing a home up there!! Very competitive market, but we are determined! We have a grandson coming up there!! So excited for our daughter and her husband!! Probably not too far off with our other family up there starting theirs!! We will miss our two grandchildren here in LA, but they fly up there a lot to see our other two girls! The three of them have stayed very close….makes a dad proud!! Thats one of the advantages of having all girls I think!!
