Tuesday Tidbits #190 I Won a Give-Away!

Hello September

How was your Labor Day Weekend? We had a quiet one and it was quite lovely. Are you feeling Fall approaching. It’s a bit cooler which I am enjoying. The leaves on some trees and bushes are starting to share their Autumn colors. I hear the Canadian Geese fly overhead more often. My Pumpkin Spice Candles have come out of the cupboards. I guess I’m letting Autumn slowly appear… slowly I said. Ever so slowly.

Do you see the Heron?

I have been cutting my Hydrangeas. They are taking on their fall colors.

A bouquet in waiting.
Ready to be taken inside.

Hydrangeas made their way to my Tea Set using my vintage Homer Laughlin Liberty Dogwood china.

An afternoon tea.

I Won a Give- Away

I have been following Butch and Pam at Everyday Living for a few years now. Their Blog is not only beautiful but refreshing. Butch shares his nature walks with readers on Sundays. I call it my Sunday Morning Stroll when I visit their blog on Sunday. On many other days Pam shares their beautiful gardens, her Sunshine Cottage and her stunning tablescapes and centerpieces. I was lucky enough to comment on one of her Give-Away posts and won a gift package of hand crafted loose leaf teas from Spot of Tea. Spot of Tea is a Mother and Daughter Team who makes these amazing teas.

I won three bags of tea, heart sugars, a tea diffuser and a tea cup.
We have enjoyed their London Fog so far. It is their take on Earl Grey Tea. This tea consisted of Black tea, vanilla pieces, white chocolate, lavender, corn flowers, and bergamot. It was delicious!
We added cream like they suggested.

The heart sugars are darling.
Hydrangeas from our gardens and Dogwoods on the china. A beautiful combination.
I chose London Fog, Relaxation Tea and Elderberry Sunset.

Thank you to dear Pam from Everyday Living for such a lovely Give-Away! I was so surprised and so tickled to win! And thank you to Spot of Tea for these handcrafted teas. They are delightful!

Commenting

I do believe the problem of commenting on my posts has been fixed. It was a bug and it was happening to several blogs. I had a WordPress Engineer comment on my previous post and it worked! So here’s hoping! Thank you for your patience!

Thank You

I do believe that’s it for this week. As I always try to convey… we sure do appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

Wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what September brings to you this week.

Whatever you have planned… make every day count.

  8. hi Nancy! Congrats for winning Pam’s lovely Spot of Tea giveaway! Their teas sound delicious and your tea vignette with the fading summer hydrangeas is just gorgeous! What a treat to take some time relaxing with a cup of special tea! I’m having trouble letting summer go too. but yesterday when I saw real pumpkins at the grocery store I sort of got a quick start into Fall! It’s coming no matter what we do, ha ha! I do think things are getting better with the comment situation, that was so crazy!

    1. It was crazy! How a bug can cause so much trouble. Thank you for your patience.

      Happy September!

  9. Congratulations Nancy on your tea win. I LOVE tea and sip it every morning at first light. I’ll be thinking of you each morning, knowing you are sipping tea too. thanks for your lovely photos…the flowers are beautiful as usual. Sweet Blessings my friend.

  10. Your hydrangea cuttings are stunning, Nancy! We too have been having lots of tea the past two weeks with our British visitors on site. Nothing like a true brewed English tea sipped by the edge of the lake. PS-I know a few of the views from this week’s post and as always you captured them beautifully. 😉 Hugs to you for doing so!
