Tuesday Tidbits #200 Two Hundred Tidbits?

I’m Amazed!

I have written 200 Tuesday Tidbits! I’m thrilled and I hope to write 200 more then 200 more after that!

Arizona Fall

The temperatures have been lovely. The mornings and evenings are a bit chilly but it gives us a reason for Sweater Weather. Then later in the day… the sweater can come off. We like taking our layers off throughout the day. The sun has been shining which always puts a smile on my face.

I saw these Desert Marigolds on my walk the other day.

Christmas Came to Town

I love the bokeh from the Christmas Tree!

You heard right… I decided to start decorating for Christmas. After we arrived home here in AZ it took time to get the house opened up and looking fresh and clean. By then it was November already. I did not have the energy to bring down all the fall decor to turn around and put it all away in a few weeks. So… Christmas arrived instead!

My Tea Cart!
A great place to also display my hand painted wine glasses.
Fitz and Floyd Birds

The tree moved from the family room and made it to the dining room. It’s loaded with our favorite Santa Ornaments, our collection of Historical White House Ornaments and our travel ornaments.

All aglow!
Just a few ornaments.
How about some Santa’s with your coffee!
I added some red flowers to this faux greenery.
Red is my favorite color for this Christmas!

I’m loving all the Santa’s this year at our house!

November Slow Moments

So far this November has given me the chance to slow down and enjoy being home. A time to be more present and mindful of our blessed life. As I am writing this post, on my iPad, I am snuggled under a afghan and I have the fire on to warm me as I await the sun to rise. Some mornings I enjoy waking a bit early… no lights are on except the twinkling lights on the mantel and the glow of the twinkling lights in the ficus tree. (I enjoy the mantel lights all year long as well as the lighted ficus tree!) Starting the day slower makes for a better day.

The glow and the quiet is golden!

Lunar Eclipse

Did you get to see it? We had clear skies and we popped out to see it a few times in between sleeping. lol! It’s always a treat to see a Lunar Eclipse!

My cell phone shot.

A few years ago, in 2018, we went up on top of a hill here in AZ to watch a lunar eclipse. I used my LUMIX FZ 200 camera that early morning. You can see the slideshow of the moon phases I captured and posted here.

This was one of my shots from the lunar eclipse from January 2018.

Neighborhood Get Together

Our friend up the street decided to have the neighbor girls over for a morning of Brunch and Mimosas. It was so nice to see the neighbors! We get along well and have fun each and every time we get together. Here’s a peek at her home decorated for us! Thank you my friend!

Such a delicious spread!
🧡
Such a darling vignette she has!

Thank You

As I always try to convey… we sure do appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

❤️🌵💚 Christmas in the Desert! 💚🌵❤️

Wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what November brings to you this upcoming week.

Whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings.

  1. Congratulations on 200 Tuesday posts! Your home looks beautiful all dressed up for the holidays, and I always come away with a decorating idea or two so thank you for that as well. You neighborhood girls know how to get together. Food looked good and delicious, and I’m positive I can hear the friendly banter and laughter from here. Happy Tuesday, Nancy.

  2. SO much to love here, Nancy. We share those Spode Christmas dishes and I love how you displayed yours on the tea cart with the other very cute things! And your Santa mugs are just the cutest! I’ll start Christmas the day after TG but hopefully get some things upstairs and ready to roll before so it’s just a matter of placement. I do love that season! You’re ready to roll and it looks great!

    1. I had to make my life a little bit easier… I do miss my Fall decor. But there is always next year!
Thank you for the visit my friend. I always enjoy your gracious comments!

  3. hi Nancy, your Christmas displays are wonderful! I love all the Santas! I think you were smart not to bother with Fall decor this year since you only recently got back to AZ…I am already starting to panic because I’m going to the beach house for Thanksgiving week and will be overwhelmed to come home to pumpkins and Dec! Seeing an eclipse is so special, thanks for sharing your pics. I love the cactus draped in lights! Happy #200, and have a great week!

  5. Dear Miss Nancy, your themed decorations never cease to amaze me. You certainly have a flare for picture-perfect pizzazz 🥰 I was disappointed to miss the eclipse due to cloud cover, but I’ve gazed at the Moon every night since (you know me). But, most importantly, CONGRATULATIONS on your Tuesday Tidbit #200 – WOW!!

    1. Thank you Clare! Cloud cover for the lunar eclipse is not good… but I am glad you have seen the moon since!
Enjoy the rest of your week.

  6. So pretty Nancy and I remember your first tidbit and commented that it would be a “hit” and it is. Love your pretty red Christmas accents…and the Santas too. How sweet of your neighbor to have a brunch for all. Thanks for sharing and congratulations my friend.

    1. Hello Kari! I’m so happy you remembered my first Tidbits! My Dad was a special man. So these Tidbits are all because of him. And my Sweet Man as he makes so much happen for the both of us.
Thank you for your lovely words. Happy Tuesday!

  8. I’m glad you get a little coolness to make it seem more like fall. Your neighbor’s decor gives you a breath of the season, while you make the smart choice for you this year to jump on into December. I love your bright reds and the warmth of the candle glow. Beautiful post, Nancy. I hope you have a great week.

  9. Happy Tuesday, Nancy! Your Christmas decorations are gorgeous! I especially love your pretty tea cart. I have been decorating, too. It seems to take me awhile so I like to get an early start. I also love all the twinkle lights with the shorter days. Wishing you a wonderful week, sweet friend!

  10. WOW! It is a rather smart thing to do, decorating for Christmas this early, then you can enjoy your beautiful things a little longer. Those painted wine glasses are truly exquisite. Thank you for the inspiration!

  11. I don’t blame you for going straight to Christmas. My favorite time of the year to decorate the house and you certainly have done a nice job.

  12. My wife and you are on the same page. She had me put the tree up and get all of the Christmas decorations out and next thing you, our house looks like Christmas (and that was right after Halloween)!!

  13. Your home looks so festive! I love it!
Shawn collects Santa’s and the two you have on your antique valise’s are so cute.
Wishing you both a Happy Thanksgiving and Festive Season.
Hugs from our home to yours.

  14. Congratulations on 200 wonderful posts!! And I simply cannot wait for the next 200. You are sure to continue to delight us with the warmth you bring to each one. 🎄
