Tuesday Tidbits #304 Reflections

Hello Friends!

As we wrap up 2024, I love taking a moment to reflect on the year. It’s always nice to look back and appreciate all the memories!

January

In January, we celebrated sweet man’s and a friend’s birthdays. We always have fun when we gather for this celebration!

We aslso went to our Lakehouse this past January! It was COLD! 4°

The lake froze over!

The snow was deep and beautiful!

We had another Birthday celebration with family! Our son had a birthday!

February

Of course, we had a Valentine’s celebration in the She Shed!

We had a ride into our beautiful desert!

March

We had a very green desert with lots of wildflowers!

April

My Spring Tea Cart.

A visit to the Phoenix Botanical Gardens.

Meeting up with other bloggers is always fun. Ingrid from
Live Laugh RV and I always have fun!

A great trip with friends to explore southern Arizona. We saw Tucson, Benson, Gleeson, ghost towns and mines.

May

The annual Kentucky Derby Party!

May continued to be an eventful month. We took a fun road trip across the country to our lake house in Pennsylvania, making many great stops along the way.

We never thought we would see the northern lights in Texas!

I was thrilled to see the last of the spring Blue Bonnets of Texas!

We stayed at this gorgeous Bed and Breakfast in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The Baer House Inn.

Our room.

The Dining Room of the Baer House Inn.

We dined with other guests.

We enjoyed a tour through the Vicksburg National Military Park.

At the Military Park, we saw the last of its kind: an ironclad gunboat called The Cairo. It was sunk in 1862 in the Yazoo River and found almost a hundred years later. She is somewhat restored and protected.

We drove through the northwest part of beautiful Alabama and then into Tennessee, where we saw the incredible Great Smoky Mountains.

A stop was made in Kentucky to see the Jim Beam Distillery.

Then we explored Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest. We got to see one of the Forest Giants.

Artist Thomas Dambo constructed the Giant.

We made it to Pennsylvania and saw our beautiful lake and friends.

June

We had a baby shower for our son and daughter in love.

GG!

I was truly honored to be a guest for Tea on Tuesdays!

🧡🧡🧡

July

The birth of our grandson! A precious gift from heaven. What a blessing!

August

Our garden was full of beautiful flowers. The Zinnias were especially beautiful.

We had lots of family fun!

We went to visit a friend in Trumansburg, New York. We stayed in this lovely Bed and Breakfast.

These Taughannock Falls were a short distance from our accommodations.

September

A cruise to Nova Scotia took place this month. We enjoyed every moment!

Our second monarch sighting!

October

Autumn was gorgeous! It was warm and colorful!

Once again, I was a guest for Tea on Tuesdays, and I was deeply honored by the opportunity!

November

We saw the Northern Lights again! This time they were over the lake.

A beautiful fall photo of our little family.

Look at that smile! And his little sweater!

December

We took a trail ride in the desert and found beautiful water!

We enjoyed a Christmas Party with friends. The hostess made these drink ornaments! Aren’t they adorable?

Happy Holidays

As 2024 draws to a close, take a moment to reflect on your journey this past year. I had fun doing this.

We’re excited to spend this Christmas week cozy at home, so I won’t be posting on Christmas Eve. But don’t worry—I’ll be back before the New Year to catch up! We wish you all a wonderful holiday season!
