Tuesday Tidbits #351 A Brand New Me

Edited with Afterlight

Thanks to one of my besties, I colored this! She got me a coloring book that is full of hip replacement coloring pages! šŸ˜„

Hello Friends!

I Have a New Hip!

My hip surgery went well, and I’m on the mend. Each day gets a little easier. My hip and I are getting along quite well and are moving better every day. I am walking my loop often inside the house and doing my Physical Therapy. If it weren’t raining, I’d be outside walking.

News Alert! The weather has changed! The sun has come out and I am able to venture outside!

Thank you once again for all your prayers and support. Your kindness is truly incredible. Also, a big thank you to our friends who brought dinners over and checked in on me. Friends and family are so thoughtful—every message, every check-in, and every bit of kindness has meant more than I can say.

Christmas Decorations

I am enjoying the bit of Christmas that is in our family room. Sitting by the warm fire and loving my twinkling lights are part of my pastime. My feet need to be up, so sitting in my recliner in this room is perfect for my recuperation.

The Santa’s remind me to do my exercises.

This little Christmas tree is perfect for us. Our wonderful friends back in Pennsylvania sent this to us and made sure we had a tree up! We love it! A special friend makes these sweet little treasures.

Thank You!

That’s all I have for this week’s blog. I’m taking things one slow and steady step at a time. Thanks for sticking with me—I appreciate you all.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Week! I am sure many of you are preparing for the big feast.

We are going to have a quiet Thanksgiving, but don’t you worry. We are having a feast of Turkey Rolls, mashed potatoes, veggies, lots of cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. We will FaceTime with precious family and watch lots of football. Friends will pop in, and we will share laughter and thankfulness. I do want to remind you about the wonderful family gathering we had at our Lake House this past October. We lovingly call the October gathering ā€œThanksgiving.ā€ We are all so grateful to continue the traditions that Mom and Dad gave to us at our Ole Homestead. We just celebrated a month early.

Wishing you all a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving! May your day be filled with grateful hearts, good food, yummy desserts, and time spent with the people who make your lives feel full. I’m so thankful for this community and the kindness you share. Thanks for being here!

Happy Thanksgiving my friends!
