Hello and Happy Christmas Week!
The above photo is a favorite of mine. It’s an old one. But these snowmen and the little Christmas truck are a few gifts that I cherish. Believe it or not, they stay out on our windowsill all year long. These little treasures help me to hold onto some sweet memories!
I hope all your Christmas preparations are going well. We are keeping things simple as I am still recuperating from hip surgery but all is going well with me! I still need to make Sweet Man’s favorite Christmas Cookies. He enjoys Pizzelles.
We will look forward to Facetiming and talking with Family and friends. We miss everyone very much but our place here in AZ is the perfect place for my rehab. No stairs and warm weather. (Our December weather has been perfect!)
Instagram Fun
Because I have been idling a bit more than usual, I have been participating in a daily photo reflections challenge on Instagram. The daily prompts have had me look back, look closer, and smile. They made me notice small moments, see familiar things a little differently, and reflect on what really matters—sometimes things I wouldn’t have thought about otherwise.
Here are just a few of the pictures I shared.
Prompt: Wild
Prompt: I Let Go Of
Prompt: Grateful
Prompt: Paper
Prompt: Sanctuary
I shared two places that we love!
Craft Night
My neighbor has been inviting some of the neighbor girls over for craft night, and we’ve been having such a lovely time. The first time, we made a charming ornament together, and this time, we crafted cute paper trees that sit on tea light candles. We always enjoy ourselves and have so much fun. Mary is wonderful, and she always puts together a delicious spread for us. Here is what we made last night. Cute little paper trees.
Thank You
Thanks so much for being here! I truly appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule, especially knowing how hectic things can be.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a week filled with warmth, gratitude, and beautiful moments.
