Hello Friends.
Merry December!
The last month of 2025 has come!

This is not my usual kind of blog post. But since Hip Surgery, I am not my usual self. I’m doing well. Just slower than usual.

AI? Love It? Or Hate It?
Why Do We Feel So Strongly About It?

AI is becoming part of our Everyday Life. Many people love it for its fast, quick responses to questions. Have you googled something as of late? The rapid response is Google AI. The research is done so quickly. Gone are the days of going to the library and using the card catalog. The Britannica Encyclopedias are now shelved in Antique Stores.
I enjoy the quick research AI does. Scrolling for the answer is pretty much gone. Lots of people also enjoy the creative aspects of AI, which spark energy for some.
“Where curiosity becomes creation.” ~AI
Others pretty much hate it. They feel AI will cause people to lose their jobs. I just saw an artist talk about it on Instagram today. A corporation licensed her to make art for them. Well, not anymore. The corporation uses AI now. For some, AI still gives many a sense of uneasiness. I remember a conversation with friends a year or two ago, and one woman hated AI! Well, two years later, that same woman started sharing how AI is creating marvels in the Healthcare industry and looks forward to more AI developments. Is the uneasiness going away? I don’t think so, but some people may be becoming more tolerant.
Most of us sit somewhere in the middle — appreciating all the convenience while still keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
Speaking of Pictures
Since I am recuperating from Hip Replacement Surgery, I have some time on my hands. So I decided to have fun with AI.
The following image is mine and it’s my Tea Cart in our dining room.

I asked ChatGPT to put my tea cart in a Christmas Tea Room. Here are some examples.

2.The second tea cart lost a shelf. Notice the tea service is not accurate as well. The following image was created by AI.

3. My She Shed is not decorated for Christmas this year but ChatGPT did a nice job and even added snow! However, notice the spelling of Merry Christmas on the pillow and throw.

A bit of fun for me, but also strange. I am down the middle on AI. AI is excellent in some situations. However, I am concerned about job loss, AI data privacy, and the unknown aspects of AI. The uncertainty is uncomfortable for me.
I hope I gave you something to think about. I will be interested in your thoughts.

Hip Surgery Progress
I am doing well. I can walk with a cane in our home and for short distances outside. But still feel much more comfortable with a walker after I have been sleeping or sitting for a while. Little by little I am getting there! Nights are a bit hard as I can’t turn over on my side yet until I get the okay from the doctor. I go to see the Doctor this week for my post-op checkup. It will be two weeks this coming Thursday since surgery.
Thank You
That’s all I have this week.
Thanks for sticking with me on this topic. It’s not what I usually post.
How do you feel about AI? Are you like me, down the middle on AI? Do you use it in your everyday life?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, so feel free to leave a comment or share your experiences.
I truly appreciate you stopping by and spending a few moments with me today. Your continued prayers for my recovery are still welcome. Thank you, and Merry Tuesday!
