  1. Hello newest Spikey! I know, a bit corny, eh, but that’s the term that has come to stick for those folk who are part of the clan known to be followers of Uncle Spike 🙂

Thank you… I really appreciate that as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.

My aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations on life as I see it, thrown in for good measure.

My promise to you is not to be overbearing, just a couple of posts a day, maybe 3 at weekends if I have something special to share. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.

Thanks again and hope you have a great day…

    1. Thank You For stopping by my little ole blog! I am still just getting use to this and just edited my About Me Page……. and there you were! 🙂

  2. Hi Nancy. Just been exploring behind those three magic bars…Those big sky sunsets are the best ever I have seen captured. I do this regular post on Sunday. This week it’s called Roaming Around: Sunday Blog Posts. It features your site one of the must see places to go.

All my best to you and you truly do have a great spot here!

  3. That is a nice sculpture of a cowboy and cowgirl, but are there cow’people’ in AZ? 🙂 I will snoop around your blog a bit….

Thank you for having popped over to my blog.

    1. It’s the wild, wild west out here in Arizona. Lots of Cowboys and Cowgirls.
My sweet, sweet man found the sculpture but after he always said… We are Two Trails That have Come Together To Make One Road.
You can poke around all you want… it makes me happy! 🙂 🙂

  4. So there you are, Nancy. You sure do look happy being in Arizona with your sweet, sweet man. And he’s a lucky guy, too, may I add? It’s a beautiful shot of a beautiful you. The Time-Tunnel inspired pipe line shot at the top is very inspiring, too, as is the cowboy and cowgirl sculpture. All in all, you’ve put together a fab page about you, you!

    1. It’s All About Me. Like that Toby Keith Song … It’s About me, me , me, me, me, myself and I! Thank you for all you kind words! 🙂

  5. If you don’t mind me asking, but how did you get more attention for your blog? I don’t care about number of followers, I just want to interact and get more feedback from people and you seem too have a pretty good readership! 🙂 thanks!

    1. I found blogs that interested me and began a dialog with them. I have found so many wonderful friends through blogging. I also took WordPress blogging university 101. They are a wonderful guide.
I have been away from my blog for a while as my wifi is not working.
      Good Luck to you!!

  6. Hello Nancy!

Just popped in to see what you were up to. Still Wi Fi Free it looks like. I just bet it is marvelous to be living in actual full time reality!

Monsoon going out with gusto this year in the high desert. The views out of my west facing windows take my breath away as the afternoon storm drama unfolds over the mountains. Doing the happy dance on being home.

    Take care my friend.

    1. Hello Sweet Friend! So glad you thought of me. I have just returned to Arizona. I have wifi!! But have been so busy! Unpacking, catching up with friends and now taking care of bills etc. I will be back to blogging soon. I have so much to share. One of them is an addition of a sunroom to the Lake House in Pennsylvania! I have been a busy girl. But it is all good!
I will be back very soon!
I am so glad you remembered me!!

  7. I lived in Mesa/Chandler for several years — years ago! I loved the beauty when I first went out there but I grew to terribly dislike the desert. I developed severe allergies. Go figure. Got rid of them when I moved to Florida! HA! I wouldn’t mind visiting AZ again cause it does have its good points! 🙂

    1. It does have it’s good points. I love it here. But I do understand what you mean about allergies. The dust is horrible here. I take allergy meds all the time and have to switch them up once in a while. Where are you in Florida? I do come to Florida once a year!

    1. Thank You So Much for stopping by my blog and for also following me. It means the world to me.
I have seen your photos and they capture the exact feeling of what you photograph!
I also look forward to what is to come from your spectacular blog!
Oh by the way… stay warm! You last post The Tempest… made me go get a blanket to keep me warm!

  8. Hi Nancy! Love your blog site! Visually beautiful and Az has a special place in my heart. I still have family there and visit usually twice a year. I should look you up on my next trip! 🙂

I'd love to hear from ya...
