We had a fun week over here at Two Trails One Road. An adventure was had. The day after Easter, we flew to Eugene, Oregon, where we rented a car and drove to the Oregon Coast. It was a whirlwind of five days, but we covered a lot of ground and saw so much! I am so thankful for Sweet Man as he planned this whole trip!
Even though it was raining, it didn’t dampen our spirits. We saw wet but beautiful scenery.
The more we traveled in Oregon, the more we saw trees covered in moss or lichen.
The following picture isn’t moss, but it was one of the many small waterfalls we drove by in Oregon. I treasure times like these. Even though it happened quickly, we both saw it and enjoyed the moment together.
Sweet Man found an excellent waterfront condo at the beginning of our trip at Little Creek Cove in Newport Beach, Oregon. It was comfy, cozy, and it came with a beautiful view!
Waking up to this view was incredible. We enjoyed our tea while we watched the waves roll in.
The Oregon Coast is known for its incredible views, rugged coast with seaside cliffs, and of course, its lush surroundings. There are lots of rocky shores that greet you with dramatic crashing waves!
A few miles North of our Condo, still in Newport Beach, was The Yaquina Head Lighthouse. It was established in 1873 and is Oregon’s tallest lighthouse.
We happened upon Devil’s Punchbowl while looking for a restaurant for dinner. While walking up to the area, you can not see anything because it’s completely hidden. Then suddenly it appears! We were astonished by how large the “punchbowl” was!
We had to stop and take a picture of this yard and all it’s decorations!
The following day before leaving, we walked on the beach. There’s nothing that soothes your soul more than walking on the shore.
Our adventure didn’t stop at the beach on the Oregon coast, but I will save the rest of our adventure for next week’s Tidbits. There is so much more to share.
As I always try to convey… we certainly appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.
Wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what this upcoming week brings to you. And whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings. Stay safe out there my friends!

Now, that was a change of scenery for you! Love the moss and the water. Had you been there before or was it on your bucket list to see?
This was on our bucket list. Oregon was one of the states that we needed. (We have two States left to see and then we will have seen all 50!)
The Oregon Coast is incredible and we needed to see it.
Thanks for your visit today and have a terrific Tuesday!
What a fabulous getaway! Great photos of the beautiful Oregon coast! Glad the rain let up some so you could get your walk on the beach!
The weather forecast was five days of rain… We only had one day of rain! We were so grateful! Thanks so much for visiting, and enjoy your Tuesday!
What great adventure. Lots of wetness out there. I’d never heard of bullwhip kelp. The shot of it looks like a drowned rat.
It wasn’t pleasant looking!
Another fabulous adventure. Glad you enjoyed the pictures. Have a great Tuesday!
What a fun and fabulous trip! Even though I used to live in California, I’ve never been to Oregon, what made you decide to take a trip there? The coast is beautiful and the condo you stayed in looked great, the view was amazing. The moss covered trees are beautiful! I’m looking forward to hearing and seeing more! Have a great week Nancy~
Good Morning Jenna!
We needed Oregon as one of our States. We need two more States then we will be able to say we visited all 50 States. We also knew the Oregon coast was magnificent, so Sweet Man planned our getaway! I’m happy he did.
Thanks for following along with us. I’m so glad you did. Enjoy your Tuesday, dear friend!
Thank you so much for sharing these exciting sites from the Oregon coast, Nance. Wonderful!!

Oregon is quite lovely and we enjoyed our time there very much!
Thanks for coming along. Enjoy your Tuesday my friend!
Sounds and looks like a fun get away. Fascinating to see the extremes from the desert to the moisture rich Oregon coast. Thanks for taking us along.
I am so happy you came along. We were happy to experience the vast difference between the Southwest and the PNW. Amazing!
Thanks for the love! Enjoy your Tuesday!
Wow!! You sure get around Nancy!!! It’s amazing how there is so much to explore.
Hi Jodie, we sure do! 😊
We enjoyed Oregon very much!
Hope to see you soon girlfriend!
Hi Miss Nancy, I’ve been experiencing issues trying to comment on your blog lately. I have been reading your posts and I’m pleased things are looking normal for me this morning. (I think I had a browser glitch.) It looks like you and your Sweet Man had a wonderful time in Oregon and I look forward to hearing about the rest of your trip. Happy week to you both 🥰
I was worried about you… Now I know why. I’m so glad you are here today.
We did enjoy Oregon very much.
If you experience any other problems, please let me know.
No worries, Miss Nancy – BTW I did finish that post about ‘that’ picture (as promised). I think you must have been in Oregon when I published it (April 12). Sorry for the shameless self promotion, but you did say you were interested in learning more about that photo 🥰
Thank you Clare… I’ll be over soon to read. I did want to know more. 🥰
So pretty Nancy…the Captain and I took that very trip down the Oregon coast while living in Seattle. You brought back many memories and sights. Thank you my friend, I am smiling the rest of the day. Hugs to you and Sweet Man.
I’m smiling ear to ear with happiness that I brought your sweet memories all back!
Thank you for enjoying it!
What a great tour you’ve given us. I have never been to the Pacific Northwest but would love to visit Washington and Oregon some time. The moss was stunning.
We loved the moss. Every tree was covered.
I am tickled that you came along with us. I sure hope you get to visit sometime soon.
Thanks for the visit. Happy Tuesday!
That does sound like a fun time — and you have the wonderful photos to prove it! ALl that lovely blue water! And some very interesting trees. I’m sorry about the rain but it looks like it cleared nicely for you!
It cleared up, and only one day of rain!
I hope you get to visit the area. Oregon is gorgeous!
Happy Tuesday to you!
Nancy, what a fabulous trip your Sweet Man planned for the two of you. I love seeing the moss on the trees, the bright green is so pretty. The condo looked great with wonderful views. Butch and I traveled part of the Oregon Coast while on a trip to Seattle a few years ago. We found it to be so beautiful. We drove to Cannon Beach and then to Tillamook. We did that in one day!I just didn’t know it was so lovely. I can’t wait to see more! Enjoy your week!
I’m so glad you have been to see the Oregon Coast… It’s exceptional!
Thanks for the visit, dear friend!
What a fabulous Oregon coast adventure in nature and you captured the essence of it beautifully! Looking forward to the rest of the journey!
Thank you! How nice of you to come along. It was a beautiful getaway!
Enjoy your weekend!
Coastal Oregon is so beautiful, Nancy! You made the most of your time in a few days. We need to get over there soon. Great photos 📸
Hi Terri! We thoroughly enjoyed Oregon’s coast. Breathtaking!
Thanks so much for the visit! Have a wonderful weekend.
Oregon has a beautiful coastline with or without the rain. We loved our time there. There are some great wineries there for next time. And go Ducks!!! My daughter was a Duck. Beautiful adventure.
How wonderful that you know all about the Oregon coast. It sure is beautiful. And your daughter was a Duck! How wonderful.
Next time we are going to the wineries!
Thanks for the visit!
What a great adventure, Nancy! I feel bad; however, because I already commented on this post shortly after you posted it via my phone. Along with many of the others following… I am SO SORRY I have no idea why they all dropped. 😳 I am going to go back through and check them all.
Don’t you worry, my friend. I will check my pending folder and heaven forbid, the spam folder.
