Tuesday Tidbits #262 A Week of Fun!

Hello Friends, Welcome In.

It’s been a great week! It was a week full of fun, adventure, fellowship, and productivity for me.

🩷

Fun

I discovered that an app (Pic Collage) on my phone has an application where I can take a photo, and then it turns it into a work of art. I took a picture of a flower on my desk, and the above picture was made. It’s beautiful!

Here is another example. It’s an orange from our small orange tree. How fun is this?

Sweet Man and I had a FUN date night! We went to see Styx. Wow! What a great concert. I sang along with many of the songs. Hearing their songs took me back to my college years. I remember playing their CD; wait, or was it an 8 track? Well it doesn’t matter I was cruising in my gorgeous baby blue ‘73 Cutlass Supreme and Styx was singing to me! I felt like I was one of their backup singers. Then and now!

It was magical when they sang “Come Sail Away With Me.”

Fellowship

We were invited to our friends for dinner. It’s always wonderful to sit and chat with cherished friends. We are known for laughing the night away when we get together.

Let me remind you. According to Charles Schultz of The Peanuts Comic Strip, you will not know who the five wealthiest people are; you most likely can’t name five actors and actresses who won an Academy Award a few years back. But you can name the people who care deeply for you. Friendships need to be nourished and loved. Reach out to those friends and family today and tell them how much they mean to you.

Productivity

This week my to-do list had many chores crossed off! I organized a closet. I then prepared the guest bedroom for an upcoming family visit. I also ensured the guest’s bathroom had all the essentials for his stay. When these chores were finished, I felt good. When chores get crossed off my list, I feel accomplished and can do a happy dance!

Then I got to play. I added some Spring touches to our home. Here’s a peek at our family room. I’m letting the sunshine in with all the yellow.

There is lots of love on this coffee table. The cloche was a gift from my son. I returned from Bavaria, Germany, with the lovely embroidered scarf. Part of my beloved Bejeweled Bird trinket boxes collection sits on the tray. The homemade coasters are a gift from sweet man’s son.

A friend gave us fresh eggs as he has chickens. I love fresh eggs as their yolks are much more golden then eggs from the grocery store. We had a delicious weekend breakfast of fresh eggs and bacon.

Golden deliciousness!

Adventure

🌵💚🌵

A quick trip to the desert with friends made for a fantastic Sunday.

Because of all the rain we’ve had, we saw a green desert and the sweet emergence of wildflowers.

Saguaro Love
We love our Saguaros!
We saw many foundations of Native American Pit Houses. These could be 4,000 years old.
Wildflowers of the Sonoran Desert are beginning to emerge.

I want to leave you with these beautiful whispy clouds we had the other evening. We watched them for a quite a while from our back patio.

💙🤍💙
