Hello Friends, Welcome In.
It’s been a great week! It was a week full of fun, adventure, fellowship, and productivity for me.
Fun
I discovered that an app (Pic Collage) on my phone has an application where I can take a photo, and then it turns it into a work of art. I took a picture of a flower on my desk, and the above picture was made. It’s beautiful!
Sweet Man and I had a FUN date night! We went to see Styx. Wow! What a great concert. I sang along with many of the songs. Hearing their songs took me back to my college years. I remember playing their CD; wait, or was it an 8 track? Well it doesn’t matter I was cruising in my gorgeous baby blue ‘73 Cutlass Supreme and Styx was singing to me! I felt like I was one of their backup singers. Then and now!
Fellowship
We were invited to our friends for dinner. It’s always wonderful to sit and chat with cherished friends. We are known for laughing the night away when we get together.
Let me remind you. According to Charles Schultz of The Peanuts Comic Strip, you will not know who the five wealthiest people are; you most likely can’t name five actors and actresses who won an Academy Award a few years back. But you can name the people who care deeply for you. Friendships need to be nourished and loved. Reach out to those friends and family today and tell them how much they mean to you.
Productivity
This week my to-do list had many chores crossed off! I organized a closet. I then prepared the guest bedroom for an upcoming family visit. I also ensured the guest’s bathroom had all the essentials for his stay. When these chores were finished, I felt good. When chores get crossed off my list, I feel accomplished and can do a happy dance!
Then I got to play. I added some Spring touches to our home. Here’s a peek at our family room. I’m letting the sunshine in with all the yellow.
A friend gave us fresh eggs as he has chickens. I love fresh eggs as their yolks are much more golden then eggs from the grocery store. We had a delicious weekend breakfast of fresh eggs and bacon.
Adventure
A quick trip to the desert with friends made for a fantastic Sunday.
Because of all the rain we’ve had, we saw a green desert and the sweet emergence of wildflowers.
I want to leave you with these beautiful whispy clouds we had the other evening. We watched them for a quite a while from our back patio.
Thank You
That’s all I have for you this week.
As I always try to convey… we certainly appreciate all of you. Thanks for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.
We wish all of you a wonderful week ahead. Whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings!
Thank you to Terri from Second Wind Leisure Sunday Stills #Photo Editing for introducing me to Bitmogi App. She also shares some of her editing apps and tips.

Busy but fun week, and now you have a family visit which will be more fun. The yellow is beautiful, and I’m headed to check out Pic Collage because that first photo deserves a frame. Beautiful.
I know! I am going to go everywhere now, turning pictures into art!
Happy week to you, dear Judy!
Gorgeous photos and the App! Wow! Our next phones will be Apples. 🙂
It’s always amazing to see pictures of the desert and it’s green! Go figure. One of these years, we’ll make it there. As March approaches, we looks forward to reading about your next adventure.
This green desert is starting to happen more often. Climate change? It’s pretty to look at but that grass turns brown with the heat to come and then becomes a fire hazard.
The app is amazing!
Happy Tuesday Monica!
Nancy, you have been a busy lady. It feels so good to mark chores off the to-do-list. I know you are looking forward to a visit from family. The sunny space is so cheerful with the yellow. Love your coffee table dressed for spring. Your desert photos are always interesting and beautiful. Friends are important and nourishing those relationships make the
bond grow deeper. The first photo is a keeper. Happy Tuesday, my friend!
Thank you always for your kind words dear friend.
The desert is green and we are enjoying it!
Happy Trails to you today!
Good morning, Nancy! It looks like you had a fun and productive week. It always feels good to get chores accomplished and marked off your list. Your spring vignette in the living room is so beautiful ! The shade of yellow in your display is so pretty and cheerful. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
Thank you, Shannon! So good to hear from you. The yellow brings the sunshine in!
Have a beautiful Tuesday, my friend!
What a week Nancy! And, very balanced.
I need you to come style my living area!
I would love to, and then I would enjoy sitting in your kitchen and watching you do your thing!
Happy Tuesday, dear one!
Awesome, Nancy. I love Styx! I remember listening to them on vinyl. Your home is beautiful. All the yellow – so cheery. 🙂 Fresh eggs are the best – thankfully our hens kept us in eggs through the winter this year. I won’t even eat store bought eggs anymore.
I understand why you don’t eat eggs from the store! I can get fresh eggs from many sources when we head to our Pennsylvania Lakehouse. So here in AZ, they were a delight!
Thank you so much for stopping in!
Art app, Styx in concert, farm fresh eggs, you really did have it going on this week, Nance! I’ll sing along to our shared musical past as that gorgeous four-egg photo makes my stomach growl!
Thanks for all the cheer for me!
Happy Tuesday Mr. Mark!
Your spring decor is so lovely! I like seeing the yellow — there and on those sunny eggs, too! Your Bavarian cloth is exquisite. And you are so right about the joy of being with friends. That Schulz quote is spot on. You will always remember the people who care deeply for you.
It is so very true. We know who our caring friends are!
Thank you for caring and visiting over here at Two Trails One Road! I sure do appreciate you.
Happy Tuesday!
I love the artwork you created with the Pic app, beautiful! How fun to go to a concert featuring a favorite band, those were the days! Your family room looks so pretty decked out in yellow with some of your favorite and special things gifted to you, Spring sunshine! Yes, I love the feeling you get when you’ve accomplished a task, and dinner with friends is the best. Thank you for another virtual trip to the desert, so beautiful! Have another great week Nancy ❤️
Jenna
Thank you so much for all the love, Jenna! The yellow brings sunshine into our family room.
Happy Trails to you today!
Oops, I forgot to mention the Styx concert. It is fun to see and hear the music of our younger days!
Oh Pam… they were amazing! Plus we saw them in a theatre where the stage revolves. Everyone had a great seat!
I was back in time for a few short hours!
Thanks for coming back to tell me. ((Hugs!))
Beautiful photos and results from you new app discover. How cool to see Styx. I love Styx. Probably an 8-track in the early days.
Oh the fond memories of the 8 track!
Thanks for the lovely comments! Happy Tuesday Tim.
PS… When I took that picture of the whispy clouds I thought of your sky pictures!
Hi Nancy! How much fun is reading this post today? You really make the most of living in the desert (I know several of you are getting together soon * jealous *). Enjoy the warm and flowery days ahead. I love your photo edits you discovered with the Pic Collage app. I may have to look into this too. It’s fun to edit on the phone in many cases. Your tablescape decor is beautiful–loved all the yellow. Your description of the Styx concert brought back so many memories of me singing along too. Come Sail Away and Babe I Love You were two of my faves! Thanks for linking up with Sunday Stills this week! Love the bitmoji–you’ll have fun with those 🙂
I will have fun with the Bitmojis. And it is you that made me look into my phone apps to see which one could change a photo. So thank you for that!
Thanks for so many kind words!
Happy Tuesday!
Great post. What a fun week. But that sky! Those clouds! Awesome capture.
We loved those clouds too!

Beautiful views!
It sounds like you had a lovely weekend. When we lived in New England we had a friend with chickens and we loved the fresh eggs he would always give us. Much more flavorful that those you buy.
