Tuesday Tidbits #241 39?

Tuesday is here!

Thank YOU for being here.

Cormorants at the lake.

We just got back from a morning boat ride. We had the lake to ourselves except for a few fishermen. It was perfect. The water was still, the air was crisp, and the sun was sparkling on the lake. Even the Cormorants were there to greet us. We saw an Eagle too!

A beautiful scene.
Sparkles!
Do you see the Eagle?
The Eagle is up on top of the tree!

We have a few Eagles on the Lake and when we see one… we get excited!

39?

I am happy to say I am all caught up with the flower gardens. However, this week, I needed to work in my office doing office things. I know you all think I am 39, but believe it or not, I signed up for Medicare this past week. I know, I know, I had you all fooled! 🤣

I was an extremely popular gal these past few months because I had so many medical and health insurance companies writing to me with accolades and telling me I was starting a new chapter in my life. As you all know, I have been retired for a while now and love every minute of it so I will keep doing what I do because Life is Good! My life book continues and I love adding chapters!

Our first Monarch this summer!
We saw this Red Mexican Sunflower after we docked the boat. I have never seen this flower before. What a beauty.

Come Walk with Me

There is so much to see when walking along Lakeside.

Picnic anyone?

This is so cool! The street post has become a tree trunk and the groundhog likes chewing it. 🤎

We love this Mexican Red Sunflower!

September

The next time we chat it will be September and Summer is coming to a halt. It’s hard to believe that Autumn is closing in but I do feel the seasonal transition. You all know how much I love summer but I do enjoy what Autumn brings. Happy September Friends!

The leaves are slowly starting to change.

Thank You!

As I always try to convey… we certainly appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

We wish all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what this upcoming week brings to you. And whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings.

  1. Good morning, Nancy. How wonderful to start a day with a boat ride on your beautiful lake. I love seeing the majestic eagle and the sparkles on the water. Congrats on number 39 🤣 The first monarch normally appears here in mid October. The photos of your flowers are stellar as are the lake homes. Happy Tuesday!

  2. Happy end of summer! You certainly make the most of the season, and I love the colorful paints used on your neighboring homes. The eagle would certainly make me excited. Welcome to the plethora of insurance mailings. It gets old fast. 🙂

  3. That eagle topping the tree is a marvelous photo, Nance. And welcome to the We Made It club, which I joined with my retirement earlier this year. Signing up and picking the right coverages sure is something. You’ll be glad when you’re on the other side of this momentous occasion, my friend.

  4. Nancy, I always enjoy your Tuesday Tidbits with your beautiful photos and fun stories. I love the Mexican Sunflower! The butterflies and hummingbirds love the ones in my garden. We won’t start seeing signs of Autumn until about October.

  5. The lake! Mirror glass…so calm and beautiful and yes! I saw the eagle. Thank you for helping me start my Tuesday on a lovely note…flowers, cottages, wildlife. Yay! 🥰

  6. Welcome to the club. I just had my ‘welcome to Medicare’ wellness exam with my primary care. Thanks for the morning boat ride and tour of the gardens and neighborhood. We have no signs of summer nearing an end anytime soon here in the desert southwest….sigh. Hopefully soon! Enjoy every last minute of your time at the lake.

  7. Your Lakeside is looking lovely! Ah yes, I remember the glut of mail that came around that birthday! (You’ll still get it beginning every August, no matter that you are already perfectly happy with whatever plan you have!). Well, at least it’s not a bill! Have a wonderful week — your weather looks much better than ours!

  8. You’re so popular with the insurance companies, LOL.
What a gorgeous place to spend the summer, Nancy,

  9. Thank you for the boat ride and the stroll Nancy! Wonderful flower and creature captures with your camera lens! It looks so beautiful and peaceful there~ where did summer go? However, I am tired of the heat and look forward to Fall, pumpkins and football!

  10. I always love seeing your photos, Nancy, they give me a glimpse into another world 🥰 September heralds our Spring, the onset of hot weather, lots of growth in the garden, and electrical storms – a great time of the year, although I’m always sad to see the back end of Winter. Happy September to you (you look fabulous btw).

  11. I always love a cormorant tree, Nancy. Who knew they grew on trees? I’d love to spot an eagle too. I love all the green and the flowers and the water! Please send some of the latter our way. It’s been a measly monsoon season so far. It’s always refreshing to see your photos of this beautiful place. Looking forward to seeing you in a couple months.

    1. Thank you, Janet. It is so good to hear from you. It’s been a lovely summer here. And we pray rain comes to the Southwest soon.
Take good care and stay cool, my friend.

  12. What beautiful views of the lake, on the water and in your walks around. So good for your soul, I’m sure. Hooray you saw an eagle! All the flowers are beautiful–there must be enough humidity in the air to keep them looking so fresh. I’m within 14 months of signing up for Medicare! Have a great week!

    1. It’s a process! And I highly recommend a Medicare consultant. My guy has walked me through what plan I need easily.
We have had enough rain to keep our flowers going. It’s been a lovely summer.
Thanks so much for enjoying our Pennsylvania paradise.
Take good care, and have a wonderful weekend.

  13. So many of your photos today are frame worthy, but I guess my favorite is the Monarch butterfly. That’s an incredible shot! Enjoy your time at the lake as summer melts into autumn with all of its beautiful yellows, oranges, and reds.

    1. I was sitting on the front porch and noticed a few red and orange leaves on the Maples. It’s happening.
That Monarch did not want to leave that flower. It stayed there for a long time!
Thanks for the love, and have a wonderful weekend, my friend!

    1. We sure do love our feathered friends!
I am so happy you enjoyed our boat ride! Thank you for the love, and Happy Weekend to you!

    1. Yes, indeed… this little life book of mine is full of adventure, joy, love, and hope!
