The architecture of Balboa Park is a sight to see. Considered Spanish-Renaissance style and intricate to say the least.
San Diego can boast about their city park and museum area! We strolled through the area and were quite impressed with the park’s beauty.
Home to the famous San Diego Zoo and the Balboa Desert Garden. The same place that Dr. Seuss enjoyed. It is said that many of his drawings for his famous books were inspired from the gardens of this park. What do you think?
My left forearm has started complaining about all the extra work – but I guess its just been lazy all these years 🙂 typing isn’t so bad, just a bit slow. Using a mouse is out of the question, but I am getting used to the trackpad.

Yes the track pad is hard for me right or left handed! Do you have a smart phone? I have been posting ALL my blog posts through WordPress app.

I do. But I still like to sit at my Mac to write my posts. Old school I know.
It was lovely to visit, but my friend who lived there said it wasn’t as great to live in:(

Cost of living I am sure is high. Great place to visit though!

That looks like a botanical garden worth a visit 🙂 I’m in a garden mood right now, even though it says that we’re getting snow this weekend. lol. I just received three gardening books in the mail yesterday. I’m all inspired, and ready for spring now! 🙂 I enjoyed this post.
Beautiful pictures Nancy!
I stared at those for a while and realized, I have actually been there. The weather there is always beautiful. Love SanDiego!:)

Love Balboa Park….great restaurant there and the museums and botanical gardens…and of course the architecture of the structures and history of the exposition that started it all. I actually took engagement photos of our oldest daughter and her husband in Balboa park back in the day…the setting is so perfect for that! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!!
I love visiting botanical gardens Nancy.
These were beautiful. I also enjoy the Cleveland Botanical Gardens in Cleveland, Ohio! They are gorgeous!
Oh my… hows the typing going for you?! It must be tough! Hang in there and a speedy recovery for you!

I am so glad you did! Spring will come soon.
We planted a perennial garden back at the Lake house in Pennsylvania. Anxious to see what has survived the hard winter!
Beautiful images, Nancy! I feel like to re-visit this lovely park. 🙂
Have a great day!
Sounds like a plan!
