Tuesday Tidbits #36 Summertime Fun

It’s Tuesday and it’s another beautiful day here in Pennsylvania. Thanks for stopping by for Tuesday Tidbits!

We’ve been having lots of summertime fun.

Backyard fires…

There have been hotdogs roasted and s’mores galore …made here at the LakeHouse!

The Purpilicious Kayak named Summer Lovin’ … made several voyages on the Lake! What a fun way to get some exercise!

We had a fun 4th of July with family and friends!

A visit to the local Buffalo Farm is always a must…

That’s correct… this is not Yellowstone!

A visit to Presque Isle Lighthouse was a treat!

I had no idea I was going to take a tour to the top! After a climb up the spiral staircase of 78 steps and past several windows …we got to the last part where there was a ladder and a small door to the top! What fun!

Then at the top… there was Lake Erie!

It’s a working LightHouse with a large LED light.

And sweet man took a picture of me … do you see me waving??

The Summertime fun continues!

I’m off to look for sea glass and am wishing you lots of Summertime Fun!

Until Next Time~ Nancy

  1. Nancy, you truly know how to enjoy what is around you. I love lighthouses and oh the view as you climbed to the top. It is always a pleasure to visit with you wherever you are! Happy Tuesday!

    1. Oh Pam… thank you for always stopping in to see what I am doing! Today I am staying home (needed rest) and am getting all caught up with friends here in blogland… and you are my first visit. I miss your gardens and your sweet princesses!
      Happy Tuesday! ☺️

      1. They’re really a delight for the eyes. I wish I could be there and maybe sail on the Bluenose II. That would be my favourite. It would have been a great date, as August 22nd is our anniversary. But well, we’re doing something we really are looking forward to, too: celebrating our 10th anniversary in Alaska.
Btw, I did sail on one of those vintage ones, the “When and If” [https://wp.me/p4uPk8-1gE], when they were in Galveston in 2018. That was exactly on my birthday, and my wife had given that to me as my birthday present: FAN.TAS.TIC!

      2. Pit I bet that was amazing! I will look at what you shared.

The tall ships did make there way in front of my camera a few years ago here at Lake Erie. If you scroll down on my sidebar… please click on Lake Erie with the Tall Ship. You will get a small glimpse of a quick visit to Presque Isle where I saw a few!

    1. We do! You said it so perfectly! I promise to stop over and see how your summer is going very soon. It has been a whirlwind summer here!

      1. I’m happy to see you’ve been out enjoying the sunshine- way more important than reading my blog🀣

  2. It’s all about summertime fun and you know how to do it up right. We’re really enjoying our stay in the Midwest, much more than we thought we would.

  3. I concur with everyone… I enjoy my vicarious living through your lens! Enjoy life and continue to share

  4. When I saw the fire, I thought, seriously! Then I remembered you are in PA!! Haha! Love Presque Isle and the bike trail. We haven’t been there in years. It was out there that we witness our prettiest sunset ever.

    1. It’s a gem of a place! 13 beautiful beaches!

Yes it was cool many evenings for a fire. But not this week! Hot, humid and rain!

      Thank you for coming by!

  5. We have to go see Presque Isle when we visit family. They always post pictures from there but we have never seen it in person. Thanks for sharing you amazing day!

  6. Wow you have really been living a full and fun summer! Love those lighthouses. We are awaiting the arrival of another granddaughter so now staying pretty close to home. Can’t wait to meet the wee girl. Xo

  7. Such a beautiful area, near so many incredible places! You are so lucky to have houses in two very different areas of the country and you can experience so many different things! Although my houses are night and day different, they are both in Alabama and the climate is similar. I love traveling with you Nancy!
