It’s Raining!

This is such exciting news! We really needed the rain! It has not rained since August. The desert is celebrating today! 🌧️😊

So is our yard!

With the rain falling outside, I’m warm and cozy inside because it is cold out. I’ve got all the candles lit, and I’m in my comfy loungewear by the fireplace. I baked some delicious cookies and smiled while setting up my journal for February. It has been a delightful day! It’s Winter in the desert.

Car Show

A few days before the rain came, we attended a local car show. We saw some classic cars. Oldies but goodies!

Last Tuesday in January

Can you believe it’s going to be February next week? Warmer temperatures are coming, too. We look forward to returning to our back patio, and hopefully, we’ll see our favorite birds.

We had a wonderful week, and we are so thankful for it.

But we can not forget those who have lost their homes due to the devastation of the fires and hurricanes. We continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
