🌼 Happy April! 🌼
Do You Spring Clean?

Since we live in two different homes on either side of the Mississippi River, I tend to do my cleaning when we arrive at our house for the season. However, I do like to “nest.” I tend to tidy up often, clean a bit, putter, make small changes, and decorate for the season. One evening, we came home from being out, and I sat down and told sweet man how much I love our homes and the cozy feel I get whenever we are “home again.”
“Nesting”

The spring additions of cheerful yellow infuse warmth and a sense of comfort.

I have added yellow in the kitchen and even more on the patio.

Outdoor Nesting?
I enjoy spending time in our garden— it’s my happy place! Can I say that trimming, puttering around, weeding, planting new flowers, and even rearranging the plant containers are other forms of nesting, too? There’s something so satisfying about making our garden a little slice of paradise.

Spring Cleaning
I do clean but because of our special living situation I Spring clean at different times of the year. However, I was Spring Cleaning the area where our bikes are stored and the bikes got a good cleaning too. Since my bike was spiffy looking I took her out for a spin. Here are the beautiful Spring Sights I saw.
Spring Neighborhood Views

Many cacti are starting to show off with spring flowers.

Take a Walk in the Park Day
I parked my bike and I took a lovely stroll around our Town Center, which happens to be a beautiful park. I was reminded by Terri of Second Wind Leisure that it was “Take a Walk in a Park Day,” and I couldn’t have chosen a better way to celebrate it! It was delightful!

We are very lucky to have such a beautiful area in the center of our town.
Thank You
I hope you’re finding ways to make your home and gardens warm and inviting! I wish you a wonderful time with your April Spring Cleaning or Nesting. Enjoy the season, and get out and view the Spring views in your neighborhood or park.
