Tuesday Tidbits #22

Arizona is an amazing place to live. The weather is fabulous. The sky is gorgeous blue. The sun shines almost everyday. Precipitation totals are low. (Even though this past winter we saw more then usual.) These factors added all together… make for happy people. It’s true… there are no winter blues here.

There is so much to do here. Hiking is popular because of all the mountains and neighborhood trails. But there is so much more to do as well. Off roading can take you deep into the back country to see amazing sights. And yes… Arizona has Water… we have lakes and washes for fishing and boating. People, like me, go off roading to not only find the beautiful views but also to Rock Hound. Arizona is full of Rocks, Gems and Minerals!

Therefore I want you to be able to see what we see when we head out in our Jeep. So sit back and relax… and view the amAZing Arizona landscapes.

Mountains and Canyons…

Lakes, Washes and Rivers

Our Beloved Red Rocks

Monument Valley
Petrified Wood National Park

Painted Desert National Park

Sedona Chapel

Sedona!!

Payson

Slot Canyons

Native American Ruins

We have lots to see… come visit us… here in Arizona!

Thanks so much for reading and enjoying Arizona right along with us!

Until Next Time ~Nancy

  1. Arizona is definitely beautiful! We visited several years ago and took in The Grand Canyon, Sedona, Painted Desert, and some amazing Native American sites. I would love to visit again. As always, your pictures are fabulous! Have a wonderful Tuesday my friend.

  2. You make me really long for it, with your fantastic pictures. Not that I needed those, though. AZ has long been on our bucket list. Maybe this autumn. We might do another of our “RailTrailsRoadTrips” – this time to the Southwest – which would include 6 days in Sedona. The plan/itineray is there, but we haven’t finally decided yet.

  3. Arizona is much like New Mexico…sorta under appreciated. But your beautiful photos show more. You have captured the real Arizona. I especially love the Sedona and Flag areas….and of course Lake Havasu and the beautiful Colorado River. Been down it many times. When I tell people that New Mexico has ice caves, they think I am joking….or that you can stand (or straddle) four different states at the four corners…they are amazed. Our beautiful Southwest is definitely the Land of Enchantment and I miss it so much. Thanks sweet friend for showing the real Southwest.

    1. You said it perfectly! The Land of Enchantment!

It’s an amazing place. Lake Havasu is beautiful! We just got to experience this area.

Thank you for always stopping by on Tuesday!

  4. So much more beauty in Arizona than I even realized! I am always in awe of your photography. My sister has considered moving to AZ for her next move, I’ll have to send her this post as I’m sure it will convince her it is the right decision 🙂

    1. Jenna… these dams do so much! But the beauty of their lakes makes me happy! Stay tuned for my next post about Lake Havasu! Such a lovely place!

Thanks So Much For The Visit. I would love to hear from you...
