Tuesday Tidbits #342 100 years old!

Sweet Man’s Mom is 100 yrs. Old!

Momma V

We celebrated sweet man’s beautiful Mom this past weekend!! She turned 100!

Many friends and family attended a lovely reception for her in Texas!

Loved ones traveled from as far as Washington, Colorado, Florida, and Pennsylvania, and friends from her community in Texas came together to support and honor Momma V during this momentous time.

Sweet Man’s daughter sent 100 roses for Momna V! We displayed them all over the assisted living home.

She enjoyed blowing out her candles.

Sweet Man gave an excellent presentation about his Mother’s life.
Sweet Man’s sister organized a lovely party filled with joy and warmth. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who remembered Mom.

Then to everyone’s surprise Momma V stood up on her own and thanked everyone for coming! She was so delighted that so many came to honor her.

Incredible!

Happy Birthday, Momma V!

Texas Hill Country

We had a lovely time with family in the Texas Hill Country.

Texas Live Oaks

Deer are always seen!

Early morning.

An ending to our beautiful stay was a sunset off the back porch in Texas.

I find myself thinking about Momma V and the remarkable experiences she encountered throughout her 100 years of life. It’s fascinating to consider all the transformations she witnessed and how they shaped her. She is a remarkable woman. Sweet man described her perfectly by using the word resilient. We all agreed.

Once again, we want to wish Momma V a Happy Birthday!

Thank You

Thank you for taking the time to read another edition of Tuesday Tidbits. It’s always great to have you here. We just got back from Texas so I will be catching up with all of you very soon.

We are headed out to see the colorful fall leaves! They have changed even more since we left. Enjoy the rest of your week.

🍁Happy Fall, Y’All!🍁
