Tuesday Tidbits #300 Wow! 300!

Hello Folks!

Wow! I can’t believe I have posted 300 Tuesday Tidbits! That’s a lot of Tidbits! I’m excited to share that I only need to write 12 more posts, and I’ll celebrate six wonderful years of writing Tuesday Tidbits! 🎉 I’ve loved sharing bits and pieces with you, and I plan to continue.

Busy Week

It feels great to be back with the saguaros again!

Although, we have been busy. Unpacking, grocery shopping, cleaning and gardening have been our middle name.

Back Patio

As you can see the back yard is in fine shape after the hot summer.

I’ve been enjoying cozy mornings by the fire with a warm cup of tea. The temperatures have been cool enough to do so. It’s become a little ritual for me that I look forward to each day!

The Gardens

The gardens did okay in the hot summer heat! However, my roses seem a bit stressed, with just two doing well. They all need some extra love and tender care. I trimmed them back and fertilized them. Now, I wait and hope for the best.

These roses welcomed me home.

The lantana is ready to bloom again. I love the happy yellow.

We have several of these lush plants called Elephant Bush or dwarfed Jade plant. They made it through the summer and flourished beautifully!

The bottom branches of many of our agaves have died, so I have been slowly trimming them back. We have numerous agaves that need to be trimmed. Each dead branch must be cut with a sharp hand clipper. This star agave is in excellent shape.

A Lovely Afternoon

I had such a delightful afternoon with our neighbors! Our wonderful friend, Mary, organized a get-together to welcome back Esther, who used to live next door before moving away. Seeing her again and catching up was lovely—what a great time we had!

Mary decorates her home so beautifully for the seasons.

I love how she took a vintage sewing machine drawer and added coffee mugs!

Thank you, Mary, for a lovely afternoon of fun and friendship!

Thank You

That’s it for this week. Our November days are moving quickly. I hope you are trying to find little pleasures to brighten each of your days.

I am working on catching up with you all. Thank you for your patience.

As I always try to convey… we sure do appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

We are wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what this upcoming week brings to you. And whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings.
