Tuesday Tidbits #271 April Projects Completed!

It’s Finished!

The house is finally back to its original state, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! All three bedrooms now have stunning tiles that enhance each room perfectly!

The daybed in my office comes in handy when we have multiple guests. As you can see from my office treasures, I surround myself with the things I love.

We sorted through our files, clothes, craft items, books, and knick-knacks and happily donated bags of no longer necessary items. It’s all so fresh and clean now!

Blogger Meet Up

A Queen Butterfly enjoying the blooms.

I need to share a few pictures of the Desert Botanical Gardens, where seven of us blogging friends met and strolled through the beautiful cacti in bloom. Unfortunately, we did not get a group picture, most likely because we had so much fun chatting away.

I, of course, snapped a few pictures of them taking photos.

I had to share these lovely Poppies.

Adventure Time!

We had a fun time on our latest adventure with friends! Our journey took us to incredible places, including Tucson, Bisbee, Tombstone, and several ghost towns like Fairbank, Gleeson, Courtland, and Pierce. We also explored a few very old nonfunctioning mines, which added to the thrill of the trip. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that left us with fantastic memories to cherish forever. Grab a beverage and enjoy the photos!

Tucson

Fairbank Ghost Town

Located in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area.

Bisbee

Located in the Mule Mountains of Southeast Arizona, this town is a fun destination with a unique personality. Some say quirky, and others say, “Keep the Weird in Bisbee.”

Tombstone

We had dinner with friends at Big Nose Kate’s Saloon in Tombstone. This town in Southeast Arizona became more famous after the movie Tombstone. Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, and Johnny Ringo once walked the streets here.

Gleeson Ghost Town

In 1794 John Gleeson had a Copper Mining Claim and the town of Gleeson, AZ began.

Courtland and Pearce Ghost Town

Funny Story- My Cowgirl purse decided to fall apart on the trip. It was old! I bought a new Cowgirl purse in Tombstone. On our way to Pearce, we encountered a PackRat Table where people had left cool things behind. Well, I left my old Cowgirl purse! You will see it hanging at the Pack Rat Table.

Home Sweet Home
