Tuesday Tidbits #315 Rainbows, Four Leaf Clovers or Gold?

Are You Lucky?

Hello friends. Hey there! Are you feeling lucky? It’s March, and the Luck of the Irish is in the air! I’m not sure I’d say I’m lucky myself, but I definitely count my blessings and feel so grateful for them. How about you?

A chalkboard I made for this month.

I’m not on a quest for four-leaf clovers or a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Instead, I feel fortunate to have sweet man, a loving family and fabulous friends. Life is good, and we plan to keep it that way. I’m always thankful to God for all the blessings in our lives.

A Desert Ride

We enjoy going on adventures as you all know. With sweet man’s knee replacement, we’ve had to slow down a bit. But this past weekend, we jumped right back in! We went on a fantastic Jeep ride. Getting out there and seeing the wild desert was great! But to be among the saguaros again was incredible.🌵

Our friends found some gorgeous blue-green chrysocolla which is a copper mineral.

They will make beautiful jewelry with these.

We then came across these guys. They were wondering what the heck we were doing out there.

Heart Concert

Another adventure we had was driving to downtown Phoenix for a Heart Concert. Navigating the Phoenix traffic is always an interesting experience. But we snagged a fantastic parking spot close to the venue, which made it all worth it.

Seeing and hearing Heart sing was incredible. They were worth fighting the Phoenix traffic for.

Ann Wilson had recently won the battle against Brain cancer. It didn’t slow her down at all. She still has that signature voice!

Hearing them perform “Barracuda,” “ Magic Man,” “Crazy On You” and other hits was priceless.

Thank You

We had such a fun week filled with the adventures we always love to be part of.

We hope to continue to do so now that Sweet Man is on the mend.

Here we are enjoying the concert!

As I always try to convey… we sure do appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

We are wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what this upcoming week brings to you. And whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings.

  1. Amazing week for you both! Love those desert scenes! Even if you aren’t looking for those 4 leaf clovers or that pot of gold, we do hope that you find them!

  2. Good morning, Nancy. I always enjoy your rides into the desert. The saguaros are amazing! I know it was so good to be out and about and to ride to Phoenix to see Heart in concert. Great photo of you and Sweet Man!

    Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️💚☘️

  3. Nancy I look forward to your weekly posts and lovely pics. And your desert pics do not disappoint. Love your bovine friends. As you know we used to raise cattle, Santa Gertrudis and Black Angus to be exact…altho we did have a Hereford or two in the mix. Even though I tried not to get attached, because one a year would get added to our freezer (ranch to table)…and some sold at auction…but I still enjoyed seeing them as they roamed just outside our fenced in yard as they had the freedom of our many acres in the mountains of New Mexico. The pic of Sweet Man and you at the concert is adorable. Have a great and enjoyable week.💚☘️🍀💚

    1. Thank you Kari for always coming for a visit. I always enjoy your comments filled with sweet stories and memories.
Thank you for all the love.

  4. I’m so glad your Sweet Man is on the mend and you’re back to some fun activities. That blue-green chrysocolla is gorgeous. I hope when your friends make the jewelry you’ll show some! Happy week, lucky woman!

    1. Oh I definitely will share. The one gal is a silversmith and the other enjoys polishing and wirewrapping. Thank you so much for the visit and all your sweet comments.
      Happy Tuesday.

      1. Old rockers still rock. I saw Alice Cooper two years ago. He’s was 75 ad still going strong.

  5. You sound like us, or more accurately, you sound like Dean. Each time we drive down to Brisbane (just an hour away) as we near the city, Dean feels his blood pressure rising with the increase in traffic. We’ve become so used to quieter roads. Seeing Heart in concert must have been wonderful. So pleased your Sweet Man is on the mend – have a lovely week, Miss Nancy ☘️🌈☘️

    1. Thank you Miss Clare. Yes indeed! The Phoenix traffic definitely can raise blood pressures!
Thanks for all the love sweet friend!
      ☘️🍀💚☘️☘️

  6. I’m glad you had such a great week. I think I would take the rainbow over the clover or the pot of gold. Rainbows are so beautiful and remind us of God’s promise.

  7. Lovely post and photos of scenery and beautiful rainbow Nancy! Great photo of you and sweet man, glad he’s improving and you are out and about again. Wishing you a wonderful week and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday! ☕☘️💚

    1. Thank you Mary. It has been a slow butbsteady progress for his knee rehab.
But getting out into the desert was the perfect medicine.
Thank you so much for your sweet comments. And yes! I am looking forward to Tuesday.
      😉☕🌸💗

  8. Wonderful shots of desert scenes and life, Nancy! I’m glad you and hubby enjoyed the sunny weather. Heart is coming to Spokane soon. I love their music, but didn’t know Anne had cancer. I saw them in concert in San Diego in 1985. I cried when they walked out and began singing! Happy St Patrick’s day to you and keep enjoying your sunshine!

    1. I am so glad you saw Heart. They are still Rockin’ in their seventies!
Thanks so much for your sweet comments! Arizona misses you! 🌵☀️

  9. What a beautiful picture of you both. You are so photogenic, Nancy. I love the long horns roaming around the saguaros. What in the world did they find to eat? LOL

I love your Lucky Us chalkboard. Such talent. I wish you were around to help me decorate and arrange my new home. You and Terri have such creative minds. My husband is creative, too, but not feminine. I have my mother’s talent for looking at ideas and not putting them into practice. 🙂

Wow, brain cancer. I wonder how they treated it! I had three friends who eventually died of brain cancer, one who lived for about 10 years or more, another less than a year. It is not a forgiving cancer. I’m so glad you got to see her.

I love all your positive vibes. Great post, my friend. Have a wonderful week. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Marsha.
It is always so good to hear from you. When we were riding past the cattle we said the same thing… what do they eat?
Ann from Heart still has her signature voice. They both are still rockin in their seventies.
Thanks for all the love! 🥰

  10. Lovely photos Nancy. So happy to hear your man is feeling better. Ann from Heart has a fantastic voice. We saw them sing a few years ago. Brain cancer must be awful. I have suffered through 3 cancers and still going strong. About the Keeper of the Cloth, I did write a post about how it was started and who has the cloth this year.

    1. I would love to hear more. I am coming over to see what you have posted. Thank you, Linda.
And thank you for the visit.
I am so thankful that you are a Cancer survivor 3 times. Thank the good Lord!
Thank you so much for your sweet words. I appreciate you.
