Tuesday Tidbits #136 The Sun is Back Again

The morning sunrise from our kitchen window!

Welcome Friends and Welcome Sun!

What a welcomed sight to see the sun! And yesterday it was nestled in the trees peeking out over the rooftops while it woke up.

Feature Creature

I have not shared a feature creature for a while. However, the sun makes the flowers reach for the sky and our pollinators love to come out and play!

Don’t you love how they are all sharing!
Our new little friend…

Adventure!

If you know us… you know we love to go antiquing. Since the sun was shining… a short road trip for an antiquing destination came to mind. And of course, an adventure was had.

This antique store in Wellsville, Ohio had such a beautiful welcome! Look at that door.

Lunch Anyone?

Antiquing works up an appetite… In East Liverpool, Ohio we found a fabulous Brew Pub with fire grilled pizza. It’s called Renovatio’s. A cool name for a renovated Old Bank! Look at the Vault! I’m so glad they kept it… what amazing character this place had.

Inside the Vault! Look at all the keys! Sorry… I didn’t see any money.

We watched our pizza being made…

It was quite tasty!

And ya know we had to have a beer…

We will visit here again and we highly recommend it!

This area in Ohio… East Liverpool and Wellsville was well known for all the pottery that was made. The clay on the banks of the Ohio River was great for china.

This is an old “Bottle Kiln.” The Acme Pottery Company owned this at one time. A great historical reminder of all the pottery, China and dishes that once came from this area.
The Ohio River from Wellsville, Ohio.
Here are some great examples of the pottery from the area. This Fiestaware came from across the Ohio River in Newell, WV.

Our Blooms

Lots of flower bouquets from our cottage gardens are still being made. Here is a lovely one that I made for our guest bedroom…

Thanks for coming by to see what we were up to this past week. What did you do that was fun? Has it stopped raining in your neck of the woods? Or do you have lots of heat and need rain? We are praying for those who do!

Have a beautiful Tuesday my friends.
