Happy Birthday Sweet Man!
Let’s all wish him a Happy Birthday! He’s still recuperating from Knee Replacement Surgery. I tell him everyday, One Day At A Time. Keep on doing the Rehab. You got this!

The Desert is Very Dry
We have not had any rain since August and it shows. The desert is extremely dry. Our gardens are okay but everything needs a good drink of rain water from heaven. I have watered but its just not the same.
We have a small navel orange tree, and this year, it has nine oranges—the most it has ever had. So, the dry conditions have not caused it any harm.
We Both are Busy
Since Sweet Man is recuperating, I wear many hats as the chief cook, bottle washer, driver, helper, and caregiver!🙂Sweet Man does his physical therapy and ices his knee often. And is doing well! Keep Up the good Work!
It’s been a busy week, so I didn’t manage to snap many pictures. By the end of the day, we’re both pretty worn out, but we have enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes Football team get to the National Championship next week! Go Buckeyes!
I celebrated the Cotton Bowl Buckeyes win by baking some chocolate chip cookies. A sweet treat for the sweet win!
Prayers
Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone still impacted by Hurricane Helene, as well as those facing the devastation of the California fires. We truly cannot imagine the challenges they are enduring. We stand with them in their time of need.

A special Happy Birthday to Sweet Man and to say keep on keeping on with his recovery. I love the valentine skeletons but expected to see one of the knees wrapped in bandages…LOL. Care givers are so important and many times thankless jobs but praise God for those who take care of those of us in need.
