Tuesday Tidbits #344 It’s Happening!

Hello October!

The Fall Colors are Happening All Around Us!

Fall colors have arrived, but summer heat is still here. I think one more warm day, and the fall temperatures will also arrive. This beautiful weather has created perfect days for walks among the leaves!

“Fall is here, let’s give a cheer!” ~unknown

Aren’t these colors fabulous on the fall hydrangeas?

Family Time

We had a fun family weekend! The whole gang was here. It was nonstop joy! So please excuse me from being absent from Blogland.

Just a Peek

Guess who was here?

Yes! Our grandson is walking!

He loves the lake.

But he really loves GG’s roosters!

He repeatedly entered the kitchen to point at the pitchers and say “chi-chi” for chickens. 😊

Sunrise

One morning this past week, I had to wake up and leave before sunrise. When I got back home, I saw the most mesmerizing scene on the lake. The fog hadn’t burned off yet, and it was magical.

God’s artwork!

Nature’s Delights

There are so many things to enjoy when spending time in nature. One delight after another! I make sure to embrace every one of them.

I hope you are embracing all the beautiful sights around you. They help to distract us from all the crazy things going on in the world.

Thank You!

That’s all I have for you this week. We are spending lots of time outside because it’s gorgeous!

As I always try to convey, we certainly appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

  4. Your autumn has landed big time and it’s fantastic! We are close to that in northern Michigan, not so much at home 150 miles away. Those colors really pop and the skies fantastic. I wish I was good enough to paint your early morning mist photo. I’d enlarge and frame that one — it’s fantastic!

  10. Your colors are all fabulous. We are not quite there yet in California. Our temperatures are still in the 80s mostly, which is perfect weather in my opinion. The green leaves agree. I can’t believe how lovely your lake is. I’d never want to leave. And that beautiful grandson! That would be hard to tear away from. Enjoy your special moments. Lots of love, Marsha 🙂 xxx

  14. Your fall pictures are beautiful. I can’t believe you captured the mystical fog and the ducks swimming in a row in the same photo. A sunny Monday found me going over a pass in NM. We don’t have all of the colors you have but the aspens were at the height of the season and were brilliant yellow with contrasting evergreens. (I know you had a wonderful time with your grandson–what a fun age!)

    1. Oh my gosh! He was such a delight. And he absorbs so much!
Thank you for enjoying my fall photos. The lake that morning was a magical moment. Happy October my friend! 🍁🍁

    1. So true. The drought is making everything short-lived here as well. Some trees are turning brown instead.
      Here’s to October, my friend!

  15. Nancy, your photos are simply gorgeous, and that baby grand is adorable! We finally received fall in an overnight telegram, it seems, with the full moon this week. It is a glorious and welcome change! I got my pansies in the ground and in containers, and am feeling quite accomplished toward fall cleanup!
    Have a great weekend!
