Tuesday Tidbits #61 Air Fryer Wings

Did you get an Air Fryer for Christmas?

I’ve actually have had one and I love it!

I’ve got a great recipe for you… perfect for the upcoming Super Bowl!

Wings!

They come out crispy and perfect!

We like a dry rub… and it’s your choice but you can always dip them into your favorite sauce.

First off… gather your ingredients.

Chili Powder, Cajun Seasoning, Cumin, Paprika, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, and Creole Seasoning. (The Cajun Seasoning and Creole have salt in them already so I did not add salt. But you can if you wish)

I would say I used about 2T of each and placed them in a plastic gallon size bag.

I also added 3T of Masa Corn Flour

I placed my wings in the bag and made sure they were all covered thoroughly with the seasonings. (I place about 5 wings at a time to make sure they all get coated well.) I had about 20 wings.

I then place them on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and Baked them for 35 minutes at 400 degrees.

When you take them out of the oven… they are done but Not Crispy.

Here is where your

Air Fryer comes in handy!

I place my baked wings in the Air Fryer at 370 degrees for about 7-10 minutes. (More or less.) Depending on how crispy you want them. It also depends on how many and how close they are in the basket. And it’s best to follow the directions of your Air Fryer for Chicken.

Here they are in my basket. I get about 10-12 wings in the basket.

When they are done they are wonderful and CRISPY!

ENJOY!

Until Next Time~ Nancy

    1. I have seen some getting smaller. 😉
We enjoy these so much… we don’t have to go out for them anymore.

      Happy Tuesday to you!

    1. Oh Pam… I have seen the Air Fryers getting smaller! They make everything so crispy! Egg Rolls are amazing in the Air Fryer!

      Happy Tuesday Pam!

    2. My brother loves his! He’s making me want to get one.. which I see it coming in the near future. He cooks practically everything in that… btw. Your wings look yummy

      1. Oh Jamala they were amazing! We simply do not need to go out for wings anymore! Egg rolls are delicious in the air fryer as well!

  1. This looks yummy! I have an air fryer, but I am still learning to use it. The guys in my house love wings! I’ll have to try your recipe. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Play with the seasonings that you like. I’ve seen BBQ and BUFFALO style made in the Air Fryer.

      It’s actually a great appliance.

It’s the crispiness that we love.

      Happy Tuesday Shannon!

  2. So you are liking your air fryer? I haven’t convinced myself yet how much it would be used, but it’s a tempting appliance.

    1. Yes… that was my thought as well… but for as much as we like Wings… I said why not. Plus we had the space for it.
So far I have made Egg Rolls (outstanding) Breaded Oysters, Chicken Tenders, and other things. Did French fries as well and it all came out wonderful. It makes it all crispy with out frying. My son uses his all the time.
      Happy Tuesday!

  3. Wow, they do look good and crispy! A couple of years ago my son and I each got one {from each other 😂 } We tried them both several times, and never liked the results…or the counter space they required so we took them both back…I have heard that they have improved since then, I’m glad you like yours, and maybe we should try again…

    1. Yes… they are large. But have seen a smaller version. Mine has a great place in a closet off the kitchen. I am enjoying ours very much.

Thanks for popping over and Happy Thursday to you!
