Hello Friends!
It’s Tuesday again! Thanks so much for stopping by. How’s your week been? I’ve had a lovely week myself. I’m now using a cane and moving around quite well. I even attended a Christmas party one evening. It was fun to get dressed up.
Then one day, I did some shopping at Costco with sweet man. However, I went to Physical Therapy right afterward. I did well but then I came home and spent the rest of the day in my recliner! I was pooped!
I can truly say I am making progress. I have made a few home-cooked meals and I will be starting my baking of Christmas cookies in a day or two.

Coffee Time
Are you decorated for Christmas? One morning, I went to my neighbor’s house for coffee. We had a wonderful time chatting about everything and anything. We felt festive as her Christmas decorations surrounded us. Walking into my friend’s home at Christmastime feels a little like stepping into a warm, well-loved memory. Much of her decor has a story.

I took pictures of her beautiful kitchen vignettes. She always has a knack for displaying her collections. Everything gives you that cozy magic you can’t buy in a store.

Her beautifully decorated kitchen table is always a delight.

Next to her kitchen table is this lovely tree filled with many memorable ornaments.

As I said goodbye and thanked my friend for coffee time, I saw these cute arrangements.

❤️🎄❤️
It was so nice to enjoy all her hard work, especially since I did not decorate much this year due to my hip surgery.
Thank You
I loved sharing a little glimpse of my friend’s beautiful Christmas home with you.
May your December days be filled with comfort, joy, and lots of Christmas magic.

Wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead. May these December days bring moments of joy and fun surprises. Whatever you have planned, make each day count and take time to be grateful for the blessings this season brings.

I’m so glad to hear you are up and about, seeing people and walking better. Well done with Costco — that’s enough to wipe out anyone, even on a good day! (And you have to be careful for flying shopping carts on top of just the size of it all!) Your friend has such wonderful and cheery Christmas style. I especially love all the shiny brites and that kitchen display! Merry Week!
Thank you Jeanie. I am proud of myself. I pray it continues. And yes, my friend has a beautiful Christmas home. Thank you for the visit and such sweet comments. I hope you continue to heal as well.
Merry Tuesday!
Nancy, so glad to hear your recovery is going well and you are able to get out and have some fun. Your friend’s house is so festive and fun. I love the snowmen. Your deserved a rest after Costco and then physical therapy!
What was I thinking? It was a busy day for me!
Thanks for enjoying my friend’s Christmas decor and my well wishes. Merry Tuesday my friend!
Love Christmas time! Happy to hear that your recovery is progressing!
I am coming along! Thanks for checking in! Merry Tuesday!
What a wonderful coffee time you must have had Nancy…I love to visit a friend’s home that has been decorated for the Holidays. Inspiration as well as a delight. I am so glad you are getting around so well after your surgery. Gone are the days when doctors would keep us in a hospital bed for a week after childbirth for example…or two weeks for any surgeries. I believe it helps us to recuperate much faster…of course it should all be within reason. One should not “over-do”…but I am sure you are well aware of that. Your recliner looks as if it is placed in a cozy spot so near your fireplace. Take the time to enjoy the Season…for years I hustled and bustled through without taking the time to absorb all the sights and sounds of Christmas….but not anymore. Merry Christmas my friend.🎄❤️🥁✝️🌲⌛️🎁🗳️🔔
Overdo?! I may have by going to Costco! Lol!
And I agree, it is best to slow down and enjoy the Christmas festivities that surround us!
Merry Tuesday, Kari!

We’re putting up the tree today. Right now it is standing on the side stoop trying to get in and every time I walk by the door I’m startled to see the green!

You too! It will be healing.
Lovely! And it’s so good to hear that you’re healing well, but being smart to not over-do it! Have a terrific week.
Thank you, my friend! I tend to overdo it at times because I can’t sit still. Lol!
