Tuesday Tidbits #391 A Little Texas, A Lot of Love, and 101 Years!

Hello Friends!

We are home after five days in Texas, and I have to say… I’m a little tired. My first day was a very long 14-hour travel day, and after arriving home late last night, I’m moving a little slower today.

Let’s have coffee together in the sunroom.

I met sweet man in Texas. He arrived a day before me. My 14-hour day should have been 6 hours, but delays and an extra flight made it long and miserable.

The days of enjoyable and beautiful air travel are no longer what they used to be!

However—

After that 14-hour travel day to Texas, I have to say, I’m still smiling about the 20,000 bonus miles that came out of it. Yes, I complained to the Airline. Sometimes you just have to find the silver lining!

It’s the Destination that is Beautiful!

Our view each morning from the guest house—casita—front porch.

What a lovely trip we had! I will share a few Texas pictures at the end of this post.

Happy Birthday Mom!

The highlight was celebrating Sweet Man’s mom as she turned 101 years young! What a blessing to be part of such a special celebration. There was family, laughter, and plenty of love to go around.

The Birthday Girl!

101 roses from her granddaughter’s family!

We Were Here!

We always see deer when in Texas!

And we see Longhorns too!

Monarchs Update!

They all became Monarchs!

My friend and I were so proud!

They were all released!

Thank You!

As for me, I think today calls for a little rest, a cup of coffee, and getting back into the rhythm of home.

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing a little Texas love with me.

I will catch up with all of you very soon!
