Spring flowers just seem to scream happy to me!
Vibrant colors in the desert are always welcomed.
Sweet, sweet man and I enjoy our backyard oasis very much.
Our flowers welcome butterflies, bees and my lovely hummingbirds.
I know as the weather warms and the flowers bloom even more…
I will be sharing more of our “vibrant” colors.

very beautiful pictures!
Thank you! Thanks for visiting.
Beautiful flowers and handsome hummingbirds. I love hummingbirds, but don’t get to see too many so thanks for sharing yours. 🙂
Oh you are quite welcome! They are special!
Love the hummingbirds! What a wonderful place you live in.
Thank you! We love it here!
Awwww the cute little humdingers. I’m jealous of your colors. We’re sporting a lovely shade of grey here today 🙁
I am so glad you came last week and had nice temps! Because this week we are in the low 50’s.
GASP!!! Want me to lend you one of my puffer coats? 🙂 May you and the little humdingers stay warm this week.
I’m looking forward to the desert blooming. Love your hummer shots!
Thank you hon! I hope to get more once everything in the background can be more in bloom all around them.
Wonderful colors and hummingbirds to start the day. We have rain an snow mixed this morning.
It was a miserable night last night here. Low 50’s this week for us.
Well, I’ll just have to make a big pot of chili!
Love your garden oasis:) The desert was beginning to get a few blooms but with our couple of cool day/freezing nights I’m sure that will stop briefly.
Yes. You are so correct! I think after this cold spell the temps will be better. As long as El Niño behaves!!
Thanks for visiting our “oasis!”
Love the color….I just noticed the humming birds yesterday in our back yard…hadn’t seen any for awhile!!
Hi Kurt… Glad you enjoyed the happy colors of the collage. Do you feed your hummers?
No…they come by for drinks out of our fountain and when our hibiscus are blooming they love the nectar from them.
I agree with you, spring flowers scream HAPPY to me, too!
The little hummingbird is just gorgeous, and the flowers stunning 🙂
Those flowers are all covered up right now. We are experiencing a cold spell that have temps down to the 30’s at night.
And we are experiencing the other end of the scale at the moment. 102+ nice and hot🌞
Thank you for enjoying my flowers. They make me happy along with my hummers.
Love my hummers!! Feed them all year round (which I know is controversial). But I think I’m committed now after all these years! Thanks for the lovely shots.
Thank You So Much for stopping by. I have found out that we here in Arizona are very lucky to have Hummers ALL year long. So I have been told to feed them because they are always here. I am so glad you and I love are hummers and we love to make sure they eat well!
I’m in the Pacific Northwest and we freeze here sometimes so I worry about the little guys. But I keep a warm replacement feeder just inside the house and change it out first thing each morning. Good thing because sometimes the Hummer food is a block of ice!! You’ve inspired me. Maybe I’ll post some of my photos. Thanks.
You absolutely made my day! I am so glad that you stopped by for a visit. Your kind words filled my heart with joy! I am so looking forward to some photos of your sweet little hummers!
OH I do love your vibrant flower pictures and those hummingbirds…precious! (They are one of my favorite birds as well). 🙂 I can’t wait to see more of your backyard oasis. 🙂
Thank You Arlynn for enjoying my happy flowers and the hummers who just make us smile!
Ah yes bring on the spring! Lovely, colourful oasis you’ve built for yourselves.
Such kind words! Thank You my friend!
Have a beautiful day!
I still remember the before photos so I only tell the truth:-)
WOW! What great memory you have! Yes… we sometimes are amazed of how quick this yard became our Oasis. However, believe it or not… Desert Plants grow extremely fast. Then if you add water (rain)… watch out!
The desert is very green because of the El Nino rain we have had.
Blew me away… Oooh, hummingbirds, love your Beautiful backyard, Nancy!
Thank you! As soon as the weather warms up I will have more pictures to share! It’s been cold!
Just so pretty…and certainly provides the promise of spring. Thank you.
Love the happy colors!! Come on warm weather… been a bit too chilly for me.
I’ve basically been outside the last few days. The weather has been just blue sky, warm afternoon temperatures here in the high country, and I just want spring to happen and somehow equate with being out on the trails with assisting in the seasonal change.
On the subject of us getting together, Perhaps a spring hike/lunch in Sedona together?
It would be great! Maybe a bit later when the temps warm just a bit.
Sounds good to me!
Beautifully captured! I have a vibrant hummer photo but it was too fuzzy to post 🙂
Thank you for stopping by. Well I am sure your hummer will pose again. 🙂 thank you for enjoying my pictures! They make me smile!
