Tuesday Tidbits #213 A Valentine For You

Hi Friends!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Some natural hearts for you!

Thanks for stopping by!

I enjoy our time together here on Tuesdays.

Did this week go by quick for you? It certainly did for me. In fact, it flew by with record speed! How did you like the Super Bowl? I enjoyed it as it was an exciting game. Did your team win? We went to a party at a friend’s house and I made Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip to share. It’s always a crowd pleaser.

Are You Ready For Valentine’s Day?

We plan to stay in as we usually do. We are not fond of loud and overcrowded restaurants. I am sure to make something delicious for us.

Do you remember when we made our Valentines for all our classmates? I sat at the kitchen table and in my best handwriting I signed them to my friends from me. Do they still have those assorted Valentine Cards for kids to share? I would get a box of 30! All different kinds… some for boys and some for girls! Oh, and how I lovingly decorated a shoebox or cereal box in red and pink construction paper with lace paper doilies for my mailbox to receive all our classmates darling Valentine Cards! How about that for a walk down Memory Lane!

Vintage Valentine Cards!

Tea Cart

Because it’s the Month of Love, I added some splashes of pink to our dining room… especially on our Tea Cart.

I decorate the Tea Cart with the seasons.
💝💖💝
I enjoyed painting the wine glasses to look similar to the Desert Rose pattern.

The other evening as I walked through the dining room I noticed how the sunlight was passing through the plantation shutters… onto the table. Shadow dancing! A dinner with friends was had the following day.

Blogging Friends MeetUp

I never dreamt that when I started blogging that it would lead me to new friends. Many friends are from around the world and some are close by. When these virtual relationships become real… then blogging becomes even more incredible! How fun is that! I had the pleasure meeting these lovely gals! The conversation between us never stopped while we enjoyed lunch. Monthly gatherings for us have been scheduled and we sure do hope other bloggers can join us.

Desert Ride

Views like this never get old.
The boulders and saguaros grouped together make my heart sing.
How does that boulder stay balanced?
Just a few miles Northwest we get to see Joshua Trees!
I love finding a working windmill!
💖🌵💖

Thank You

Thanks so much for visiting!

As I always try to convey… we sure do appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

I enjoyed making this for our kitchen!

Wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what this upcoming week brings to you. And whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

  1. Happy Valentine’s Day, Nance! Wasn’t it something when all us little kids got to share those little cards with everybody in the class. Those were the days, friends all! And these are the days when you can actually have lunch with three other bloggers. You all look very happy. Have a great week!

  2. Happy Valentine’s Day Nancy! My daughter’s children made the cutest mailboxes for the Valentine parties at school today, they are so excited 🙂 Your pink styled tea cart looks so pretty, I love the pink flower glasses you painted! I have met some blogging friends in person, and you’re right, we have so much fun, such a special bond! Your desert photos are just beautiful 💕

  3. Happy Valentine’s Day, Nancy. The blogger meet-up was lots of fun and I’m looking forward to the next one. I love all the heart shapes you featured and your idea of decorating the tea tray is interesting to me. (I’m a tea drinker, too, BTW.) After I had all the ornaments off the Christmas tree, I told my husband that it would be fun to leave it up and decorate it seasonally. Then I realized that all seasonal decorations wouldn’t really be Southwest and I’m not planning on decorating any cacti. 🙂
