Tuesday Tidbits #236 Waving Goodbye to July

I don’t think so. I’m not letting July pass by that quickly. Summer is still happening in my neck of the woods. I am enjoying the longer evenings still because the twilight hours bring on the fireflies and perhaps the chance of an outdoor fire on the patio. Summer is staying put!

Love sitting around a campfire!

Summer Getaway!

We had a short and fun getaway to the Finger Lakes area in New York. As we drove up to the area, the haze was so thick with smoke from Canada, but it disappeared over the following days. I am so happy it did because Taughannock Falls would not have been as pretty!

Taughannock Falls!

The Finger Lakes Region covers 9,000 square miles with 11 lakes! Last fall, we visited the Watkins Glen area and Seneca Lake; you can read about it here.

This time we visited beautiful Cayuga Lake and the impressive Taughannock Falls. There was loveliness around every bend. The hillsides are dotted with farms, vineyards, waterfalls, and bed and breakfast places. We had a wonderful stay at The Glass Magnolia Bed and Breakfast in Interlaken, NY. The owners were quite nice and so attentive, our room was delightful, and breakfast in the morning was delicious! A perfect getaway for us.

I highly recommend a trip to the Fingerlakes! There’s so much beauty to see, lots of fun recreational activities and wineries to visit.

Bridal Shower

After a few days, we were so happy to attend our son’s and his fiance’s bridal shower. It was a lovely gathering of friends and family. You could feel the love in the room! We are all so excited for the wedding in a few months!

My heart is filled with joy!

Thank You!

We had a wonderful week!

As I always try to convey… we certainly appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

We wish all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what this upcoming week brings to you. And whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings.
