Tuesday Tidbits #260 Five Years!

Five Years

Of Tuesday Tidbits!

I can’t believe it! I am thrilled that I started Tuesday Tidbits where I chronicle our weekly events. I started it as a tribute to my Dad. It’s been such a pleasure to have each of you visit us each week. Thank you so much!

Welcome In Friends!

We made it back to the Arizona desert. I have to admit, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind for us. We are settled in, I think.

Friends came for a visit. It was so nice to spend time with them. All these gals are friends from my days when I lived in Ohio.

Love these girls!

Rain

We have had several days of rain and the desert loves rain. With all the rain comes a green desert. In the higher elevations, the precipitation was snow.

Four Peaks covered in snow!

Valentine’s Day Decor

As soon as I got home I needed to put away winter decor and begin with Valentine’s decor. I have lady friends coming here today to tour the she shed. They are coming through the house so it needed to be festive. The ladies are coming from a Galentine’s party that we are all attending up the street. Here are a few pictures of what I have done to add the touch of romance.

Pink and Red touches.
Cozy Valentine touches.
Our Kitchen dining area.
Our kitchen counter.
More Pink Touches.
My Tea Cart
💗💕💗
A new runner was added to the dining room table.

She Shed

I left the Clay Ornaments up on the garland from Christmas. It’s festive and the colors still work.
🌹❤️🌹
Lots of red and Valentine Cards!
The corner cupboard has more splashes of red.

I am quite pleased with myself as I got a lot done for only returning home a week ago today. I do need to catch up with all of you. Hopefully, I will do so very soon.

Thank You!

Happy Valentine’s Day to you, my friends.

As I always try to convey… we certainly appreciate all of you. Thanks for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

We wish all of you a wonderful week ahead. Whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings! Stay cozy friends.

    1. Bins… lots of bins!
But I do display many of my treasures throughout the year in my hutches and curios.
      Thanks for all the love!
      Happy Valentine’s Day!

  1. Good morning, Nancy. How fun to go to a Galentine’s Party today! I love all of the ❤️ Sweetheart ❤️ touches in your home and the shed is perfectly charming. Love is in the air everywhere your friends will see. Wishing you and Sweet Man a Happy Valentine’s Day filled with making sweet memories ❤️

  2. Congratulations on your five year blogging anniversary, Nancy. Every time I see your house and your decorations, I just smile and shake my head because they always look magazine – worthy. Not something I can achieve or even want to do, but I can enjoy it in someone else’s house. Like Judy, I wonder where you put all those things when you’re not using them. Lol. What fun to get together with your friends and welcome back to Arizona. Thanks for sharing the picture of the Four Peaks with the snow. I wish I could’ve seen that.

    1. Thank you Janet for all the love.
Believe it or not… many of my Tea pots and tea cups are displayed in Hutches and Curios for all to see. The rest goes into bins or squirrel holes. 🤣
Thanks for enjoying Four Peaks… it was something to see!
      Happy Valentine’s Day to you!

  3. Congrats for 5 years! Isn’t it amazing how many friendships and connections you make with blogging! You have indeed been a very busy girl and your home and She Shed look beautiful! So smart to mix pink flowers into your Valentine decorating, and I love all the red. Your friends will be wowed, I know you will have much fun. Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day Nancy!
    ❤️ Jenna

    1. Thank you always for visiting each Tuesday. My heart is always happy when I see a comment from you.
Thank you always for the love.
      Happy Valentine’s Day, sweet Jenna!

  4. Great post! As always, you’ve inspired me to get some festivity out and around my house. It’s the priority tonight after work…I still have one day before V-Day, haha!

  5. Congratulations on five years of blogging, Nancy, and welcome back to the desert (I say that like I live there 😁). While we were there we watched the snowfall on 4 peaks from outside my brother’s home in Fountain Hills.
But oh my, your Valentines Day decor is without equal! Not only is your home so beautiful but your sheshed is amazing. I use my sheshed for storage of all my decor! You previously mentioned curating tablescapes as one of your hobbies, and wow, what you’ve created is so impressive and warm. Thank you for the inspiration and I can’t wait to see what you do for st Pat’s day and Easter ❤️💕

  6. Welcome back! Hope we will see you this trip! We leave for Prescott on Thursday after going through our condo with John. We are so excited they are coming. We will be back here when they leave. Your post is so beautiful. I have Desert Rose dishes. My grandmother and I both had a set. My S-I-L has them now. It’s so nice to see how you’ve used them. 🙂 You are such a decorator! BTW, I’m linking this post to my weather post as a thank you for your comment. 🙂

    1. Oh you are the sweetest! Thank you Marsha! I really enjoyed your weather post!
And thank you always for your kind comments.
      Happy Valentine’s Day!

  7. Congratulations Nancy, isn’t it crazy how fast five years of blogging went? All of your decorations are so beautiful like always, you are a fabulous decorator! I bet it feels good to be home. I didn’t know you lived in Ohio, me too! Where did you live in Ohio?

  8. Congratulations on FIVE YEARS of Tuesday Tidbits 🥳🍾🥂. I remember reading your first TT and the beautiful tribute you wrote to/for your dad. He’d be so proud of you as I’m sure all your gal pals and blogging friends are too 🥰 I’ve no doubt you’re happy to be back in Arizona and itching to get out and explore in the desert where you’ll be capturing more photos for everyone to enjoy. As always, I love, love, love, your heartfelt decor – you’re a whizz when it comes to decorating. Happy Tuesday to you and your Sweet Man, and enjoy your Galintine’s party.

  9. You are amazing to have the energy to transform your house so quickly. I’m sure the ladies enjoyed the Valentine decor in both your home and your she shed!

    1. They loved it! And for an added bonus I had them look at our rocks and minerals that fluoresce! I think they loved that even more!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you! 💝

  10. Happy Valentine’s Day, Nance! Yes, the holdover red works perfectly in the she shed. Congratulations on five years of Tuesday Tidbits. And I recall our WP connection started with photo challenges issued and met years before that! Glad we’re still appreciating each other’s views of the world!

    1. Oh, Mr. Mark. Thank you for your kind words.
I remember we were in a WP photo challenge together. But I also remember you posting about a diner (some people spell it dinor) and I had just done the same as well. And I commented on your post. We have seen each others posts for quite a while now! Way before Tuesday Tidbits.
Thanks for hanging in there with me!

  11. thank you for inviting us in to your home(s)….how pretty are your tea sets and dishes. Happy Valentine’s Day even though I like to celebrate the whole week. Have a great week.

  12. Love the pictures!! Welcome back to AZ!! Love it when there are winter rains in the desert….changes it so much with the robust plant life thriving!! I remember a few years back where the desert was green from LA to Phoenix!! Stunning!!

    1. What a ride that must have been! Thanks for enjoying the post. It was good to hear from you. Enjoy the rest of the week my friend!
