Tuesday Tidbits #170 Carrots Galore

Can you believe it’s Tuesday already? This week went by quick for me. It was a busy week for me.

Even though I was busy… I had some fun. Do you remember this fabric that I shared with you a while back?

I made something fun with the orange fabric. The green fabric will be used for another time.

Homemade Fabric Carrots

A basket wreath full of carrots!

I had seen several different ways to make carrots on Pinterest and Instagram and decided this way was the best for me.

They were quite easy and lots of fun!

Here they are all together!
I brought them in as it was very windy outside!

Handmade Carrots

Place pattern on the fold of the material then cut it out.
Sew top seam first.
Then sew side seam.
Turn inside out and then stuff with cotton filling.
Cut greenery.
Add the greenery then tie with twine or ribbon.
Fill basket with grass and then add carrots.
I added a bow then hung it on my door.

I love how it all turned out!

I know St. Patrick’s Day is in a few days and I probably got ahead of myself with my Easter Craft. But… I just had to share these carrots. They are so darn cute! Therefore, I’ll leave you with a few Irish pictures.

This clover or Pink Wood Sorrel was planted by my mother 50+ years ago and grows all summer long at the LakeHouse.
Homemade Irish Soda Bread!
Lucky Indeed!

Thank you for joining me today.

Take good care and have a wonderful week ahead.

Prayers for Ukraine…

    1. Oh what a beautiful Irish Blessing. Thank you so very much. Those eggs are a gift from my Mom! She gave them to me when I was a young Mother.

  7. Fifty cents a bunch! That’s way too cheap for these delightful little carrots 🥰 don’t forget to charge for your time, if it’s at all possible to put a price tag on the fun you had constructing these.

  8. I adore your carrots Nancy….you are so talented my friend. It made me want to grab up some material and start sewing again. It has been a long time since I have done that so thanks for the inspiration. I also love your soda bread, it looks scrumptious. Have a great and wonderfully blessed day. 🙂
