Happy Tuesday!
Tuesdays sure do come by quickly in the summertime… don’t they?
How was your week? Is it hot where you live? Many people are sweltering and many like us… need rain!
I’m very excited to share what we did this past week with all of you. You may need to grab a cup of coffee as I have lots of pictures of another fabulous adventure.

We went to visit our friends that have this cottage at Chautauqua Institution.

Chautauqua Institution
Chautauqua Institution is about 65 miles north from us into New York state and located on Chautauqua Lake. It is a gated education center and summer resort. This place is unique, quite beautiful and so very charming. Stunning Victorian homes line each street and walking paths.

Many residents depend on its chimes for the time of day. It is a memorial to one of the Institutes founders, Lewis Miller.

An Elegant Place to Visit

As I said earlier… this is a gated resort community. A place where artists, musicians, political figures, celebrities, poets, scientists and writers come together and learn from each other. One afternoon our friend sat outside, in the center park area, waiting for a lecture. A man sat down beside her and asked when the lecture was to start. She looked up to reply and there sat Tom Hanks. An intriguing place indeed.
If you wish to learn more about this beautiful destination. Please go to this link Chautauqua Institution where you will be able to see the events, themes, lectures, workshops, classes etc. that many participate in. While on the website you are also able to view the accommodations (like many of these beautiful houses shown in this post) that can be booked for your educational vacation.

As I always try to convey… we sure do appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining me for another Tuesday Tidbits.

Wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead! Make every day count!
