Tuesday Tidbits #247 Changes!

Hi Friends!

October weather has come!

October weather can change in a heartbeat here in NW Pennsylvania. We witnessed that this past week. One day, it was 80 degrees and then 48 degrees the next. Today, it feels like October as I type this post. It’s cold and damp from on and off rain.

Last week we had a gorgeous day so we decided it was the perfect day to take the boat out before the weather turned. The lake was beautiful along with the surrounding trees in high color!

Fall at the Lake!

This was our last day of warm weather!

Fall in the Country

The Autumnal feels surround us everywhere we go. It’s been a joy to see God’s beauty change before our eyes this past month. Trees have turned bright colors, leaves are blowing down the road, and our mornings feel crisp while we wait for the sun to rise.

I saw the above view when I went to pick up fresh eggs and produce from a farmer’s market here in town. They decorated the hay barrels and gave me a chuckle!

I got the squash at the farmer’s market. These are our favorite kinds of squash. Buttercup and delicato squash.
Our favorite squash!
Chestnuts from our neighbor’s tree. They are delicious!
Mums!
Outdoor Fall Decor.
Calling all witches!

We are enjoying the Autumn Colors around our home. Each day brings lots of Changes! How about you? Are you experiencing Autumn Colors where you live? Is it sweater weather yet?

Thank You!

That’s all I have for you this week. I hope you are embracing the seasonal changes and enjoying the simple pleasures that fall brings.

As I always try to convey… we certainly appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

We wish all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what this upcoming week brings to you. And whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings.

  1. I think our weather is much the same. I haven’t seen the sun since a week ago today (well, and a bit tomorrow). And it has been in the 40s and super windy. But oh, these photos make it all seem so perfect! Don’t you just love squash? And the wonderful displays you saw and the color make it all worthwhile!

    1. It has been worthwhile, Jeannie! The squash has been fabulous. And the colors have been magnificent!
Thank you always for your lovely words!
      Enjoy your Tuesday!

    1. Yes… one day, we had the air conditioning on, and then two days later, we had the heat on! Crazy!
      I hope all is well.
      Happy Tuesday!

  2. The lake looks gorgeous, Nancy. All those colours – even those chestnuts – must be making you feel warmer. Actually, everything looks so bright and colourful (as usual) 🎃🍂🥰

  3. I love the photos of the trees by the lake and the very bright blue sky! Fall is in the air everywhere! I love the metal pumpkin and sunflower yard decor, so cute! The decorated haystacks are hilarious! It must be getting about time to head to Arizona? Enjoy those chestnuts and squash!

  4. I have enjoyed your fall colors while in Florida. So glad you are enjoying the fall produce, leaves and weather..

  5. Your photographs are lovely with such stunning fall colors! I love going out each day for a walk. There are changes every day. Have a great week!

    1. Yes, the fall colors here have been gorgeous! These changes do please me!
      Thank you for appreciating!
Enjoy your changes as well, my friend!

  6. Nancy, the photo of the lake with the colorful trees and blue sky is stunning. Country scenes always make me smile. Your colorful kitchen makes me happy. We both love color. We don’t have much color, usually the first of November before we see any! Hope you are having a wonderful week 🧡

    1. Thank you so much, Pam! It’s been a joy to see the transition of the season here in NW Pennsylvania.
And yes, I do love color!
      Happy October, dear friend!

  7. Beautiful fall color and decorations. The temperatures have definitely fallen, and it’s gray and gloomy this week. I was out working early yesterday, and had to bundle up for a while, and my fingers were really cold. I’ll be out there again this morning because I’m still working on cutting back perennials. Have a good week.

  8. What a beautiful post, Nancy. I like what you did with the collage at the end. No, our colors are not nearly as gorgeous as yours are. That is like a piece of heaven in technicolor.

  9. Nancy, this is the most beautiful fall post! Your photographs are gorgeous! Your autumn vignettes are so pretty, and I loved seeing the fall colors of your outdoor surroundings. We have yet to experience fall foliage here in Oklahoma. However, we are supposed to be getting a cool down. So, I don’t think it will be long till we see autumn colors. Happy Thursday, sweet friend!

  10. How amazing to be able to ride along the lake amongst the fall colors, Nancy, I’m always struck at how similar we are in our photography subjects, seasonal decor and the stories you share about your images. I re-subscribed to your blog. I fear WP has glitched again, as I haven’t been receiving your posts via e-mail.

Like you, I’ll be enjoying our last few “warm” days as we ramp up for the cold season. I’m sure we’ll see you in AZ if we can get down there in January.

    1. Thanks for subscribing again! WP has been having quite a few glitches!

And yes… I look forward to seeing you in January!

      Thanks for the love!

  11. Brilliant! What a joy to be able to boat out for the best views of the landscape. Such a beautiful property. You know my autumn. lol. It’s coming as quick as it can. We are still in the pool which I love but I look forward to being out hiking more.

Thank You So Much... for sharing your kind words. I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to share your thoughts.
