Tuesday Tidbits #280 July Has Come

July Has Come Again!

It seems like I just wished you a Happy July, and now a year has flown by! Can you believe it? As a kid, time seemed to move slowly, but now as an adult, time flies by.

Time With Me On Tuesday

I appreciate your being here and the effort you make to check in. It means a lot to me. Thank you very much!

4th of July

Parade contestants!

What are you doing on the 4th? We have a few days of fun! On the 3rd we watch fabulous Fireworks along with music and food trucks! The next morning on the 4th, there will be fun water competitions, beach games, and bike parades organized by the Lakeside Association at the lake. I shared the small town Americana with you here. This town knows how to have fun on the 4th!

Sack Races!

Bike decorating.

Do you have any special 4th of July menu ideas? How about dessert?

I have made this 4th of July trifle a few years now. It is quite tasty! I hope you can make it.

Are you seeking ideas for your holiday decor? I find joy in decorating. Putting together my red, white, and blue dining room tables is always a delight.

As you can see above, I painted my 4th of July wine glasses. Here’s how.

What’s Blooming!

Red Bee Balm!
White Daisies
Blue Hydrangeas

July 4th Sights

A neighbor decorates his front yard Mermaid.

From the Trike Parade!

I hope you all have a fantastic and joyful Independence Day! Have fun, but most of all, stay safe.

Thank You!

As I always try to convey… we sure do appreciate all of you. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesday Tidbits.

We are wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy what this upcoming week brings to you. And whatever you have planned… make every day count and be thankful for your Blessings.

  1. Have a wonderful 4th of July at the lake, and I know you will have delicious foods plated on beautiful dishware. Enjoy! Your flower photos could have been taken in my garden because I have exactly the same beautiful blooms. 🙂

    1. I have been surprised as to how well the hydrangeas are doing!
Thanks for enjoying my red, white and blue!
      Enjoy your Independence Day. ❤️🤍💙

  2. So much to love in one post, Nancy! Happy 4th to you…and thank you for sharing all the beauty around you. Flowers, tablescapes, food…nostalgic and lovely. Every bit. 🥰❤️🥰

  3. Nancy your 4th of July pictures are so bright and happy and reminiscent of my childhood! Here in the Cape we have what we call Red White and Boom and there are white tents of crafts and foods all up and down our main street. There will be a huge fireworks display over the Caloosahatchee River and Gulf of Mexico on the 4th and we are fortunate we will be able to see the display from our front yard. How clever to paint your wine glasses, I keep thinking I will paint ‘glasses’ but so far the thought process is as far as I have gotten. LOL. Your blooms are so pretty, as always. Have a safe and happy 4th with your family.

  4. Nancy, your town looks like a fun place to be to celebrate Independence Day! I love all the decorations around your home and around the lake. Happy July 4th!

  5. I love a good trifle and yours looks fantastic! What a great way to start celebrating — early and happy. We’re at the lake and our fireworks are on the sixth. Meanwhile, we’re enjoying grilling out, a boat ride with friends, and time to read and putter! Happy Fourth!

  6. Good morning, Nancy! Thank you for sharing your beautiful town with all of its 4th of July fun festivities. Your tables are lovely always, there is something very special about the red, white, and blue! Love your blooms. Wishing you a wonderful week of fun! Happy 4th 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

  7. Lots of fun going on here Nancy! Love the decorated mermaid and the Uncle Sam sign! Your trifle looks amazing, I need to make that! Your red, white and blue tablescape looks so pretty and I’m glad you’re enjoying your flag wine glasses 🙂 Have a wonderful 4th!

  8. Love your desserts! So inviting. Pretty flowers and July 4th activities. Enjoy your holiday, Nancy!

  9. You’re going to have to save all this red, white and blue for next week’s color challenge, Nancy. Everything looks so festive, such beautiful captures of all the fun and frolic. Our small down doesn’t really have a town center , and even if it did, everyone would be away camping 😆

I love all your RWB decor and tablescapes! Love the trifle! I own a trifle dish, hmm, maybe you’ve inspired me! Enjoy the week and and the fireworks!

    1. The trifle is delicious and so pretty to take to a party.
I will have some RWB for your challenge next week.
      Happy 4th to you!

  10. Your tablescapes are always so delightful and welcoming, Nancy! I am quite certain your guests find it hard to pull themselves from the experience & linger-long while at table!

Lakeside is indeed a magical place, most especially for the Fourth of July holiday! 🇺🇸 I do hope to see you this year in the Parade crowd – the “Ants at A Picnic” have been hard at work with this year’s theme…
    Hugs & blessings 😘🇺🇸😘

    1. I can’t wait to see what all of you come up with!
And yes, Lakeside is a magical place!
Happy 4th to you and yours.

  11. Have a wonderful 4th of July, Miss Nancy. Your tables look fabulous all decked out in red, white, and blue! 🇺🇸 Dean and I are heading back to the Bunya Mountains for a few days to celebrate our birthdays this year. Being the middle of winter, we expect it to be quite brisk, but sadly, although no frosts are predicted, seeing the mountains in winter will be lovely. I can’t wait to share photos when I get back.
