Welcome Friends!
We’re so glad you’re here!
312 Tuesday Tidbits!
Can you believe it? I can’t!
I’ve been blogging for eleven years and made a little switch six years ago. I decided to post every Tuesday. Blogging multiple times a week felt overwhelming, so I figured once a week would be just the right balance for me to keep enjoying it. I then came upon an old monthly newsletter that my Dad used to print called Tidbits. He was a passionate hobby printer, and his newsletters were created using a traditional printing press. I remember him setting type, letter by letter, for his newsletters. Eventually, he made the leap to using a computer, and I like to think he was the first person in our little town to purchase one! If he were around today, I know he would be a blogger!

My Dad! He was such a remarkable man. Ask any of my siblings, and they will tell you the same.
The day I found one of his older newsletters, called Tidbits, was when I decided to name my posts Tuesday Tidbits in honor of my Dad.

Heartfelt Gratitude
Sweet Man and I want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support over the past six years. Your presence has meant the world to us, and we sincerely hope to continue this journey together for many more years to come. Thank you for being a part of our story.

Sweet Man and I really are Two Trails that Became One Road, hence the Name of our blog. We came together later in life, and we’ve welcomed our adventurous ways with enthusiasm. We’ve had such a remarkable time sharing these incredible experiences with all of you! We plan to keep doing so.

Favorites
Tuesday Tidbits is “a restful pause for busy people.” That’s what my Dad would say about his newsletters.
We, like some of you, have some favorite Tuesday Tidbits. Why don’t we take a look back at some of them?

Speaking of Tea. I do love Tea Time—especially Tea On Tuesdays. I feel so honored when asked to be a guest on Tea on Tuesdays with my dear Tea Friends and hosts Mary of Home is Where the Boat Is and Pam of Everyday Living.
The following are the two I have had the pleasure to do. I hope to have Tea with them again!

It has been a joy and fun, Nancy, with you on your Tuesday Tidbits blog. I remember when you first started them! Your dad looks like a remarkable man! His Tidbit paper is wonderful!!! Would you consider sending me a copy of the one in your blog? I’m not able to read it all. I can tell though it was his joy and pleasure. How grand! Happy Tuesday to you and your dear hubby! 💐❤️
I would love to send you a copy.

Awe… thank you sweet Clare! It’s always so good to hear from you. I always look forward to our visits. Happy Trails to you my friend!
Delightful, as are all your posts. I didn’t realized you were a fellow tea drinker. We’ll have to do tea instead of coffee one of these days. Enjoy the week, my friend! <3
Awe yes! I use to live coffee until it didn’t love me anymore. Therefore I changed over to tea. Whenever you and I get together with the other blogging friends I order a chai latte. It works for me!
Thank you for your kind words. Happy Trails to you!
Huge congrats and hugs for 6 years of blogging, Nancy! I think we all stated at posting daily then reality sets in. 2025 marks my 7th year of Sunday Stills. I actually stopped blogging for a few months because I got overwhelmed. Once a week with Wordless Wednesday posts is perfect for me. Hope all is well with your travels and then enjoying that warm desert air!
Thank you Terri for your sweet comments. I am glad we have become friends through blogging.
Happy Trails to you my friend.
Pop the champagne – here’s to celebrating a beautiful milestone! I’m glad you are carrying on your father’s legacy by creating wonderful content! Celebrating moments like these remind us of how far we’ve come and how fantastic the future will be!! 💖💖💖
What beautiful congratulatory words from you. Thank you so much, Mary.
Happy Trails to you!
What a sweet story of your two trails that have come together on one road. I always enjoy your Tuesday post because regardless of what is happening in my little world or in the bigger world we live in, I know I can count on a positive respite here!
Awe… how kind of you to say dear friend. It’s always wonderful for us to connect on Tuesdays!
Thank you for all your visits and kind words of support. Happy Trails to you!
Congratulations on your blog anniversary! Well done. I love both your Two Trails name (and how it came to be) and the Tuesday Tidbits, which is a wonderful memory of your dad. So many lovely photos — many from before I learned of you and some I remember so very well! I don’t know how you discipline yourself to only do one a week. But well done! (I don’t get these daily posters! My life isn’t that interesting!) Big smiles!
Thank you Jeanie. I get so busy within my week that posting once a week is perfect for me. It just works, for now.
Thank you so much for always visiting because I know you are a busy gal as well.
Happy Trails to you dear friend.
Congratulations on your 6-year ‘Tidbits’ milestone Nancy! What a fun look back at your travels and adventures. I love seeing the colorful umbrelllas and cute your potting bench and shed! You enjoy the best of both worlds, splitting your time in Pennsylvania and Arizona. It’s a treat to have you join us for Tea on Tuesdays, we look forward to you joining us again! Happy Anniversary ♥
Thank you so much, Mary. My heart swells when you visit. Thank you always for your sweet comments. I enjoy being able to share Tea with you on Tuesdays!
Happy Trails to you, my friend!
Nancy, I love your Tuesday Tidbits. I love all your decor and the cheerfulness in your posts. Your dad must have been amazing for you to be talking about him after he is gone. Parents make such an impact on our lives for better or worse, and the rest of the world can almost tell their stories by knowing us. 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words, Marsha!
I always enjoy your Tuesday Tidbit posts Nancy. I bet your dad is looking down with a lot of pride!
He sure is! Thank you my friend!
I loved learning about your very talented Dad. It is beautiful that you continue his love for the written word.
Thank you Bernadette. He was one fabulous Dad!
